Had works lunch here today the food is amazing and the staff are very friendly! I had the humous and Olives to start and the mushroom and squash Wellington with garlic Garvey it was cooked to perfection and both were very generous portions. Everything is cooked fresh so it does take a little longer to reach the table but it is well worth the wait. I will be going back soon and highly recommend.
There's a lot of outside pub garden space for kids to play & make use of the adventure playground where parents can watch their children while sitting, drinking, eating at the outside tables/chairs. There's also a large herd of cows in the next field that parents & children can safely see from the car park, or later in the day, from the pub garden. There are a couple of very large parasols for anyone who wants to shade from the sun. The menu is not extensive, with moderate prices.
Was told I could use my Gourmet Card with 25% off the bill but they refused to acknowledge it when the time came to pay. Good average and bit chilly with no heating on. Will not be returning.
Only been in a few times for a cheeky half after work. Staff are always friendly and the cider is always cold. So it covers all my pub going needs.
A traditional feel. Not a plastic purpose built building selling plastic food and boring beer, but a real place giving friendly and efficient service, brilliant food at the right price, and the opportunity to complement that with a range of excellent real ales.
Nice old fashioned pub with a good of beers and spirits. Fine menu to support and picnic grounds with out house consisting of veranda, pool table and satellite tv.
Nice outside play area for the children. Olde world interior which is much nicer than new type pubs. Pleasant staff and the whole place is lovely and clean.
Had a very nice meal tonight there was eight of us and every meal was very nice had a great time with the pub quiz and play your cards right very friendly staff will return again
Had a few meals here now, all excellent. Staff are welcoming and ready to help. Great place. Xx
Wandered in here lost on a long run. I had no cash but the friendly bartender gave me squash and water and one of the locals gave me a ride home. Really nice.
