Friendly staff on Saturday evening. Very pleasant.
Sat down outside, got quickly told to leave just because my mate had adidas pants on. The interior looks like something ripped out of the 70s, and it's hardly a bar let alone a club. I don't think it's fair or reasonable to suddenly levy a dress code nowhere is that implied when you're a stuck up pub with a toilet door that doesn't lock.
Went to watch the football here and it was just how I remembered it the one time I ventured into Postern Gate about 10 years ago. The atmosphere was that of an early 2000s pub club which is great if you're 18. The staff did their best to maintain social distancing but the queues for the toilets was just a free for all of unruly 18-23 year olds. That being said, it's a great space if you can manage to get a table outside. There's space in the front and back and it's pretty big. it's essentially a spoons with a different name. Nothing special but does the job.

The floor is sticky, but the staff is friendly. The blond girl with the tattoos is gorgeous and really nice. It's a good place to start your night. You can see things ;
One star is too generous. Be careful going here especially as a woman, my friend got physically assaulted by one of the bouncers last night for no reason! We waited outside the toilets for our friends getting ready to leave the bar, next thing you know my friend is getting violently pushed/dragged out the door by a bouncer twice her size and has bad injuries from this!! When asked to speak to management and complain we were met with the whole staff team telling us to leave and defending the abuser, once told via Facebook that this incident is getting taken further with the police they have blocked us instead of professionally dealing with the issue. So many laws were broken from not letting us get the bouncers badge number, touching during a pandemic and using violence against someone unprovoked. I would avoid at all costs for safety reasons, sick of bouncers thinking that they can abuse their power! Be careful girls!
They were very rude and told me that we weren't allowed in because my trousers were blue. They told me to go away. I was quite disappointed and there was no room for negotiation.
Always a laugh at Postern Gate. Went for a few drinks and a dance with some friends. Had a good variety of songs and drinks are reasonably priced.
Went in for a wee and stayed for the company. Ended up making a few new friends! Great place
