Just returned from a wonderful break, staying at Tudor Lodge for a few days. Our hosts were lovely and our room was great with a comfy bed. Great choices for breakfast and very tasteful decor in the rooms. The en suite shower was excellent. We will be returning to this lovely place.Rooms: 5/5
Wonderful small hotel in Porthmadog. Claire was extremely welcoming and could not be more helpful from the moment I arrived. The room was always clean and had everything I needed. The real highlight were the breakfasts which were some of the best I have had in hotels, so much variety and all delicious. I will certainly stay again when in that part of Wales.
Brilliant location, room 8 large double, very comfortable and clean. Everything you need is there. Nicely furnished and decorated. Breakfast was exceptional, such a wide variety of food. Owners were very friendly and helpful would definitely stay here again.
Couldnt fault this place at all. From start to finish. Excellent location, cleanliness was exceptional. Made very welcome. Large variety of breakfast choices. Bonus when there was a mini fridge in the wardrobe. Definitely recommend this placeRooms: 5/5
Had the most comfortable sleep here, not one to nap but the room and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Lovely engaging staff, can’t fault anything. There is car park behind the property. Everything is cozy and comfortable and luxurious. Highly recommend. The location is perfect with lovely views.
Really pretty building, placed in easy walking distance to the village. The service was friendly and excellent. Fabulous variety of breakfast including cooked breakfast. We loved our room No 8. We will recommend to family and friends.Rooms: 5/5
Only stayed for one night as arranged. The room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was excellent with a super selection of hot cooked to order and cold food. Added to all of that is the fact that the staff were very friendly and helpful. I very much hope to be back soon and for a longer stay.Rooms: 5/5
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tudor Lodge! We traveled through the UK for 18 days and out of the six different hotels/lodges/B&Bs in which we stayed, Tudor Lodge was absolutely our favorite. Clair and Steve are wonderful hosts who provide a generous and diverse breakfast each morning, room service with amazing prices, and a comfortable place to relax after long days of walking and hiking. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the check-in and check-out process was seamless. We hope to return to North Wales in the near future, and we know exactly where we'll be staying when we do! Thank you again, Clair and Steve, for an incredible stay and an unforgettable experience!
This place was an absolutely wonderful place to stay! We only stayed one night in the cottage but it was gorgeous and well equipped. Small kitchen but enough that you could cook yourself a meal if you wanted. I recommend it especially as a couple who wanted to stay a few days. There were a variety of food services, such as packed picnics or graze boxes to take out and about with you on your travels which I thought was a great. The gin selection has to be seen to be believed - I've never seen so many varieties in one place. The owners had no shortage of suggestions or resources to plan what to do in the local area. The breakfast set up was great, with an amazing selection of continental style options as well as hot food available. All in all I would happily stay here again!
We were made to feel very welcome. I would say it was a very relaxed place to stay. Clean, has a lot of character. Our room was really nice and the breakfast was great as plenty of variety and good quality cooked breakfast.Rooms: 5/5
