Another fantastic wintertime stay at Snowdon Lodge. This year we were a group of 5 families with young and adult children totalling 24 people. It is a great base with a local shop and pub a walk away, and a few minutes drive to a big supermarket. Lovely to return to a clean warm house after our hikes to have warm showers and use the big drying room. Great kitchen for cooking as a large group and the dining room suited us really well too. Comfy bedrooms, great facilities and we also made good use of the games room & the lounge. Thank you to Carl & Anja for being so responsive to queries before and during our stay.
What an amazing place for a large group of friends and family. Thank you Carl and Anja for being so responsive and friendly. We had a lovely time at the lodge. The bedrooms were warm and comfortable. The showers were good and the kitchen was excellent; so many fridges and enough space for food preparation. The outdoor BBQ and fire pit were wonderful also. We only had one minor wish that we'd brought a few more towels and hand soaps for the group. Thank you again, and until next time :-
An ideal house for a large group of families. Nice new bathrooms, lots of fridges, excellent games room and you can walk to the shop, pub or to take the dog out. Don't forget to bring your own towels, bath mats and soap.
We were a group of five families totalling 24. Ages ranging from 70+ to 12. We all had a fabulous time at the lodge. The kitchen, games room , dining room were superb. The lodge most definitely ticked all the boxes. The Fish & chips from the local shop were superb & the local pub fed our group admirably. We wouldn't hesitate booking again. A big thank you to Carl & Anja.
A wonderful walking weekend from Snowdon Lodge as a base. Perfect for us. More than we imagined. Booking was easy and smooth.nnWe enjoyed sitting round the fire pit outside, endless ganes of pool, the great kitchen facilities and the lovely clean rooms that easily accommodated 26 of us.nnDefinitely recommended and we’ll be back.
