The site boasts a new children’s play area while the large beach at Sutton-on-Sea offers safe bathing so is perfect for families. The house we rented was metres from the beach, was an epic 3 night stay there. The beach was sandy and windy, was very quiet and the locals were quite friendly. The Sand grains were thick and big unlike the sands down south like camber sands which are quite grainy and dusty. It looked and felt different, which was a pleasant discovery.
2nd time out caravaning and couldn't have asked for a better site to stop at! More stars are needed. Extremely well cared for, approachable wardens that clearly care about your stay and how they run it, very well managed. A quiet site, I think probably best suited to an older family but even still a great base to explore Stutton on sea and Mablethorpe, the beaches are idyllic great for walking the dog. Just make sure you approach from the correct way as the other is simply not advisable. The facilities were excellent. We are going to be back 100%
Great site with fantastic staff who made you feel valued and welcome whilst keeping the place spotless. Superb facilities block. No onsite dog exercise area. Only draw back was the lack of any nearby pubs or restaurants, but that's a personal choice. Bus stop a short walk away.
Excellent camping ground. Superb shower/toilet block. Very clean throughout the site.
Great site, first visit here very quiet site felt like an adult only site but wasn't, staff nice and professional, Sutton on Sea just 1.5m walk away, walked to Maplethorpe along the sea front, fantastic beaches and views, if walking be prepared for a 8 mile round trip back to the site. My only GRIPE was the mobile Jolly Roger fish and chips which comes about 4 times a week, you can have anything you want as long as its haddockfrozen that's the choice !! chips, no onions and when we started eating the oil from the fish & chips was dark brown left on the plate. . . never again !!
Had a very pleasant stay just prior to the site closing for the winter. Facilities were first rate and cleanliness second to none. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely will return next season.
This is a fabulous site because it is spacious and beautifully cared for by the lovely wardens. The town is a 30 minute walk away but is very nice and the beach and promenade go on literally for miles. Will definitely return.
Great camp site all very new after a reservation they did a good job under floor heating in the the shower was very welcome on a cold October morning. Staff very help just like any other motorhome club site. Every thing up and running wright up to to last day of the season. Will be back next year when the sun should be shining .
Lovely campsite, good facilities. Reception has a little shop for the odd thing and a ice cream to treat yourself. Grounds kept neat and tidy. Even has a fish and chip van call in the week.
Super site, very well set out, spacious pitches and the facilities were spotless. The wardens were very friendly and helpful too. Definitely recommend a visit.
