If u will be assisting by the Miss Kirsty Hooper, be ready to spend hours to get things right. This seller on parts department doesn’t even know what she is doing in the desk without any knowledge of the parts even. Do not recommend visit this branch for any services or parts. Basically come to find out price for the service only and after huge amount on the paper asked her to give me accurate price for materials only. She marked £17.02+£12+£13 for whole service vehicle. When i said i am happy to proceed she said sorry we cant sell u oil as we don’t have: Basically she cant accept that she did a mistake and she was looking to get away of this, but not today! Dear owner of the business look which kind people working in the till:
Took ford transit custom for first MOT and a service. After speaking with ford a month ago to book, usually I receive a confirmation text or email or reminder. As the booking came closer I rang to confirm as not received any correspondence, they had no booking of the MOT. After finding another trust ford garage who could fit me in before mot elapsed able to book n at trust ford Dagenham. Dropped the van 7am ready for 8:30 MOT went to work waited for an update I rang garage at 2pm as hadn’t heard anything and returned to garage at 4pm to find out that the van had only just gone on the ramp and informed it had instantly failed due to engine management light in which I informed them about. 4 days later after investigating fault I picked the van up. Arrived home parked my van up noticed a small drill hole on passenger sliding door. I rang the garage to speak to someone. Was fobbed off saying it wasn’t them. Obviously they wouldn’t break into the van. however was meet with rudeness and little empathy. I rang to inform them that this had happened and also see if any CCTV of van or other customer had reported it. Just meet with Complete denial and rudeness. Trust Ford ha.
Sadly quite disappointed with the service I have received. We purchased our van from the TrustFord Dagenham Centre and the purchase was smooth with the sales staff constantly getting in touch and always able to take a call for queries. When purchasing the van in late 2017 we thought it would be a good idea to take out the service plan which lasts for three years as it looks good on the vehicles service history and we were advised it includes the MOT. Once the three year plan got around 28 months we were advised that the member of staff that had written the plan had made an error and that the plan would need to be adjusted due to a pricing error, with two more years being added on. In 2021 the locator spring within the gear stick had snapped a small spring which relocates the gearstick so we of course go to where we purchase the vehicle. Once there we are told that to look at the gearstick is £140.00 + VAT and it's most likely the gearbox needing replacement, a job costing thousands and very unlikely on a van with 40,000 miles. Not happy with the answer we took the van to Gates in Harlow where a mechanic actually came out and checked there and then for free, saying it was uncommon for the spring to go but a simple part replacement and £80.00 Labour + the part which is very fair. Upon the last year of our service plan in 2022 the van only needed a minor service, but being a direct debit we've been charged £342.00 for a major service, and advised that no MOT is included please read above!. Being told the MOT is £55.00 on top I was happy to compromise at the reduced £40.00 for the MOT as I had no choice as it expired that day and the van was already with TrustFord. Was told that the van will be ready for that evening, and left as should. At 1.45 receive a call from Ralph that the front brake pads are worn, the discs and the brake fluid needing topping up, and was quoted a crazy price of £140.00 for pads, £150.00 for discs, and £45.00 for brake fluid + VAT, supposedly 10% off as part of the plan. Already having previous reservations I declined them to do this work and just to finish the service and MOT, which they said they would. Closing our business early and rushing to get to Dagenham by 5.30pm, we're told the van isn't ready and no one is there to do the MOT. So flabbergasted by the point I decided to take the van to a local mechanic who did both the MOT & changed the front break pads for £110.00, he advised the discs do not need changing. Sadly all in all the premises are tidy, the floor staff polite, but I feel personally that I do not trust the aftersales to purchase another van from TrustFord.
Awful awful and awful. Took out a service plan with them and it was never a good experience. Can't even issue the service plan documents professionally. They fly through the service and carry out poor works on the remedial! This last service was an absolute embarrassment. Changed the passanger mirror and you couldn't control it with the mirror adjuster. When we took it back, the ever present Kirsty was informed by the mechanics to tell my representative "the mirror adjuster is there for show"!! What a joke! They carried out the MOT and the driver's side switch worked in reverse. They advised on a new switch. We approved the works, they made us come back and didn't even order the switch to be replaced.... instead they charged us for a diagnostic that identified we need a new switch. If this branch didn't prove themselves enough of a joke, when we swapped out the switch for the one they ordered, which they claimed was the problem after supposedly carrying out a diagnostic, it didn't work!!! This was the last straw and most recent of headaches but there's much more. I gave the branch manager Antony an opportunity to respond to the incompetence, failings and absolute embarrassing customer service of his team. This was 21st September 2022 with a follow up email 27th September 2022, and until today radio silence. STAY AWAY, FOR YOUR PEACE OF MIND!
I book the van there for Ad blue service Friday and they didn’t fix until Tuesday when I go to collect the van Tuesday the problem was the same they never fix it , and they charge me £483,00 without fix in the van and told me the van have problems bla bla. Need change this and this another £1550,00 .extra . They destroy you van iff u put the van there for service , them only charge you money and don’t do nothing , likely I take the van way from them and I fix another garage with £400 in 1 hour.
Excellent service, highly recommend. My second new Transit Custom, the first was faultless.
APART FROM THE ON GOING ISSUES. TRUCK BOOKED IN FOR SERVICE 10 FEB 2023 0700-0800HRS. DROPPED OFF AT 0800HRS. UPON RETURNING AT 1440HRS TRUCK WAS NOT READY AND DRIVER WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD BE ABOUT 45 MINS. DRIVER COULD NOT WAIT AS HE HAD TO COLLECT HIS CHILDREN FROM SCHOOL. FORD OFFERED TO REBOOK FOR SERVICE. ACCORDING TO SECURIALERT BONNET WAS OPENED AT 1441HRS. TRUCK RETURNED 17 FEB 2023 FOR OIL LIGHT TO BE RESET.
Due to ULEZ regulations, my wife and I needed to purchase a new and a used cars before August ‘23. The new car team Mo and the used car team Sumera were fantastic, and were able to locate the EXACT cars that we needed to satisfy our requirements.
Excellent customer service by Alastair, Phoned around many Dealers Trowbridge, Bristol Street and others all either too busy to reply back and very poor customer service. Customer service and information provided by Alastair was beyond expectations it really was. He sourced me a colour other dealers were saying not available as it was a Limited colour. After placing a order for a Custom MSRT we placed another order for a transit and picked up both on the same day. :
DON'T trust ford 150£ 1 hour charge fee for brand new tyre deep ceck? I ask about totally different things and after that "service" manager asking me do I want to buy a new ford? NO!!! IT'S NEWER GONNA HAPPEN!!! i prefer Renault or Iveco they provide better service and more reliable on road and today I recived a nice letter from ford with reminding me about my van mot is expiring which is passed in February not as i got in letter middle of May. Avoid that place as far as possible
