Very friendly staff. Car park was full but we had asked for a reserved space moved a car so we could park. Room very clean and ensuite. Bed king size and comfortable. On main road but good double glazing reduced traffic noise. Only offered full English for breakfast but it was nice and sufficient.
Brilliant place to park when shopping in norwich all day parking is only £6 so a bargain and just a 5 minute walk from the city centre. Staff are very friendly here. Food is also very good. Highly recommended place to go for a few drinks, food or both! :
Comfortable room and central situation for exploring Norwich . Previous report of poor choice for breakfast has been addressed by the owners, cereals and fruit available each day, eggs done to perfection, and a choice for cooked breakfast if you ask for it. Easy parking, clean towels every day, friendly staff.
The inconsiderate owners choose a warm Sunday evening at 6pm to start cutting the hedge. They expect nearby residents with small children to tolerate 2hrs of constant chainsaw noise, or shut your windows in the heat. I can only assume they do this because they have no patrons inside the pub watching either of the World Cup matches today. If you like empty pubs with the background ambiance of a building site, then look no further...
Clean and tidy and friendly staff. Only down side is that rooms 1 and 7 share a bathroom at the end of the corridor which was a bit of a pain in the middle of the night. And the kitchen fan came on at 6am and woke me up. Other than that a nice place.
Completely flat beer, highly overpriced and utterly tasteless food, bartender that can’t crack a smile, generally poor and slow service and low quality. We could actually see the pasta being cooked and it was Aldi pasta - nothing wrong with Aldi pasta, but I don’t want to pay £12.95 for it!Service: 1/5
The most helpful and accommodating staff team running a clean B&B with an excellent pub/restaurant alongside. Well placed to explore Norwich town easily on foot.
We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here. The steak was cooked perfectly with a delicious sauce. Will definitely be returning.
Went in for a few drinks, was very quiet for a Friday which was good as I don't like overly crowded places. Good decor asked nice atmosphere.
Sign outside "Sunday roasts for £12" went inside on Sunday around supper, man behind bar says they are closed. Asked about sign and the fact that door was open, says, oh we maybe should take that down. Shrugs off being not being open.
