went to go see still alive ! cosy and intimate, great view, fantastic atmosphere. there's a bar and area downstairs to wait with drinks, thoroughly enjoyed - incredibly worth it for the price
Excellent venue for new writers and student actors! This venue really makes a solid and concerted effort to put new writing by writers of limited experience and actors at a similar level, centre stage. I cannot applaud this highly enough, especially due to the location of the venue, meaning they could charge far more for tickets. Staff are also really friendly and helpful, down to earth and personable too. I really enjoy the type of clients this venue attracts as well, making it feel like a student-friendly, warm environment which keeps me feeling young and vibrant! I went here during the autumn to see an adaptation of Sherlock Holmes and found the intimate atmosphere very unusual. Also, as it was a very cold and windy day, I sat in the cosy bar to dry my coat. Very nice overall, would recommend it for those wanting to broaden their horizons and see something wonderfully different. The prices were very good, so I could see myself going back again.
It was a beautiful and different experience we are use to go to big theatres where u are a small number in between the crowd and this was the opposite. Nice and small room, only 27 people. And u feel it really personal and private spectacle. The act was nice and interesting and the experience great. Lovely place and lovely staff.
Location is a bit out of nowhere and the entrance isn't very clear. The stage is quite small - that's great if you like that sort of thing but I wasn't a great fan. The play I went to watch was good but it would have been better on a bigger stage.
Nice little hide away theatre for unusual plays. Can easily walk pass it. Small stage quite intimate setting as seating is close to stage, basic food and drink served.
Cosy, simple theater with good vibe and atmosphere. Offers interesting performances, plays and workshops. There's a bar there as well so you might come and chill here in the middle of Covent Garden/Leicester hustle.
Nice little theatre with a decent bar that doesn't try and fleece you. Not an extensive range but it's served up at a reasonable price with a smile. Can't say fairer than that.
Lovely little theatre, came here by train to see my niece perform, they are literally right in front of you. You can get a drink before show and they have a small seating area.
I attended a double bill of music theatre. I especially enjoyed the production of Sundown Town, by Adam Wachter. Candice Palladino as Camille DeRosa gave a strong lead in this story based on the 1951 Chicago race riots.
