Small and contemporary design. Put on good shows, and a nice intimate environment. Seats not the most comfy and difficult to access mid-row as the seat bases don't lift up.
Fear of 13 was incredible. Really enjoyed the small intimate vibe of the theatre and still had a good view with standing tickets.
Small intimate theatre, great set design, most sest have a good view. These were from Circle A25,26, great seats though then end is a bit difficult if you're small because there tends to be less room left as people fill the seats which is sort of cushioned bench seating. The only other fault is if there action to the far left of the stage. Luckily you can move a bit and look through the wired bit. If available I'd sit more head on even if one by one seat from these.
Theatre as it's meant to be! Intimate theatre in the round. Home of quality productions, with some of the best actors around. Whole place oozes charm with friendly staff in abundance. Couple of small bars. Innovative version of Macbeth with David Tennant and Cush Jumbo blew me away with its brilliance! Happy theatre goer
The Donmar Warehouse is a special theatrical space. It is intimate, and wherever you are in the audience, you feel connected and engaged with the performance. Design wise, the aesthetic is industrial with comfortable bench seating. I was here to see "Next To Normal", an astonishing, fiercely intelligent, and emotionally demanding Pullitzer prize-winning musical with an array of powerhouse performances by a talented cast that took my breath away. This is a show that challenges and rewards in equal measure. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Love this theatre and as usual another amazing play, 'The Fear of 13' with a brilliant performance by Adrien Brody and the rest of the cast!
The human body was fantastic! Disappointingly after the show we were told we must buy drinks if we wanted to wait in the bar area to get a photo with cast members, only then to be told they won’t be doing pictures that evening after everyone had already purchased drinks. Completely understand the cast not wanting to take pictures and meet people however disappointed in the staff member that got everyone to buy theatre priced drinks in order to do so. Other than that the theatre was lovely and such an intimate space, I wish I could get a ticket to go and watch the show again :
Great venue, we loved the atmosphere and quality of seating
Love the place, great productions, Intimate atmosphere and great sound balance. We went to see Chekhov, the Cherry Orchard.
Watched Clyde's and thoroughly enjoyed it. The theatre is compact so all the seats have a pretty good view of the stage. The seats are high and very comfortable. Helpful staff. Covent Garden nearest tube, walk down Neal Street and it's on the left. Whole area is buzzing and the Seven Dials Market is a must with all the various eateries.
