From the moment we arrived at Treherne House we were made to feel extremely welcome. Our room was beautifully furnished with great attention to detail and spotlessly clean. Mark and Alex were wonderful hosts, the full English breakfast was cooked to perfection and there were lots of other options to choose from to suit all tastes. Excellent service and great place to stay, would highly recommend. Nearby activities: Lots to do in the area
A fabulous couple of days staying with Alex & Mark. A warm friendly welcome upon arrival, & you certainly feel at home immediately. Room was beautifully decorated & dressed, the whole building is spotless. Everything just has that air of quality from the toiletries, towels & bedding to the bed itself which is superbly comfortable. Breakfast is a treat in itself, a super range of continental options, the fresh fruit salad is a must to try & the full english is packed with quality ingredients. Can't wait to return for another visit.
The owners Mark and Alex run an absolutely first class guest house. We had a delightful stay whilst doing a couple of days walking in the Malvern Hills. Such a warm welcome and Treherne House is beautifully appointed with elegant, sumptuous rooms. Perfect to come back to after a day out. The breakfasts were excellent and the lounge bar was lovely for an early evening drink. We would recommend this accommodation without hesitation.
Delightful house, Elgar room large with a gorgeous roll top bath. beautifully decorated throughout. Fabulous hosts who have provided lovely breakfasts and an atmosphere of calm. Mark and Alexandra the proprietors are very welcoming. The room was in great order when we arrived and looked just the way it was depicted on their website. Their COVID-19 safety precautions were sensible and made us feel safe as well as feeling at home. The shower was hot a must for me! and the duvet was incredibly warm and comfortable. Breakfast on each day was delicious. Due to COVID-19 you make your selection the night before rather than there being a buffet to choose from on the day. The English breakfast was great as were the options for toast, yogurt, fruit, etc. Our hosts went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay in Malvern. They're very passionate and knowledgeable about the area and made recommendations of restaurants and specific restaurant dishes! as well as walks, taxi firms and more. We would definitely return.
Great place to stay in! Really good breakfast and options too. Attentive hosts in Mark and Alex. The best thing about the place was the bed! The best one I've stayed at in a long time. I've got video of the room but not pictures. 4 star as its quite far from the town centre 45minutes on foot or less than 10 by car. 20mins from town centre. My own fault, should've checked distance! Would definitely stay again but with a car.
Just back from a 3 night stay with my partner and we've had the most amazing time. The hotel is stunning, the room was immaculate and the owners are so welcoming and friendly. The hotel is ideally located for walks in and around Malvern. We will definitely come back for another stay.Rooms: 5/5
We have just enjoyed another stay at The Malvern Retreat self-catering cottage, it is well located, very comfortable and Alex + Mark are superb hosts. Thank you, hope to be returning in the Spring. Highly recommended.
Stayed on the retreat lodge, all the comforts of home, wifi adequate but slow at times. Lovely enclosed garden and uitility room dog freindly . Freeview TV microwave cooker washing machine. Shower , double bed and seperate two single beds . Great local walks. Dark skies at night good for star gazing when not cloudy. Lovely place to stay. Mark made us very welcome and showed us around our holiday let .well Kept and clean. Measures in place for covid. Would recommend and use again. Loved it. Goid good pubs local pubs bluebell within walking distance food and dog freidly parking and dissbled parking to rear and green dragon within a mile .food menus on line , discounts on food if you state that your stsying at Treherne House or retreat.
We’ve just stayed for the third time. It is still an excellent place to stay. I highly recommend. Fabulous house, great location, comfortable and really friendly owners.Rooms: 5/5
