Lovely friendly small hotel . Personal service from the owner made us very welcome. Lovely decor and characterful building. The description of the waterfall room on their website was a bit misleading as it’s very small and there are houses to view on their hillside so not an undisturbed view of the hills but then it is ideally located for the town. Short drive to the wonderful walks . We will return.
The Cotford Hotel welcomed our party of 10, gathered for our combined 70th birthday celebration. Rooms, location and meals all top notch. Barbara, Chris, Ellie and team were very efficient, friendly and fun we enjoyed some great banter, which really added to the overall enjoyment of our stay.nWe dined at the hotels L'amuse Bouche restaurant on 2 nights of our stay. The food was exquisite, Chis is a fantastic chef.nWe will be back.nThanks again Howard and Allison
Went last night with our friends for our Christmas meal celebration. Wow....perfect , so tastefully decorated for Christmas, from the minute we walked in the service was fabulous from the owners Barbara and Chris to their amazing staff.nAs for the food, we all cleared our plates on every course, it was delicious. We had a variety of starters, main course, pork, beef and lamb. Cheese board, wine, drinks and coffee.nCannot recommend this restaurant enough for a special treat, you will not be disappointed.
Superb Saturday evening Dinner. Everything was just perfect, Food, Ambience, Service. Proper traditional hospitality and a very friendly welcome indeed.nnThe Madresfield Estate Beef was, without doubt the best insurance have ever tasted.nnThank you so much we will be back very soon.
Absolutely stunning, just love everything about this Hotel and Restaurant , the setting, food and best of all the people. Nothing is too much trouble, food is always beautifully presented and sumptuous. Chris, Barbara and the full team thanks for making every visit a fantastic experience, loved coffee in the lounge this Christmas decorations were lovely.
