Just had a scrummy lunch here (an early Mothers Day treat) in the newly refurbished hotel. The food was outstanding - prepared on the premises and presented beautifully. The staff were warm, courteous yet unobtrusive and made sure we had everything. Today we ate in the bar where there was ample room between tables so you don't feel hemmed in, but not spaced too far away either. There was a comfortable number of others dining 'with us' forming a convivial atmosphere. The only downside is that the Mount Pleasant is no longer dog-friendly, even in the bar area despite sensible hard floors. Ernie, my retired assistance dog, who now has pet dog status, hopes that once the new decor is not quite so new, the hotel might reconsider their dog policy. Many visitors to Malvern bring their dogs with them after all. Locals too!

Beautiful area. Hotel is located in a perfect spot. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was amazing, all the little touches you hope for when staying at a hotel were spot on. I would return.

Beautifully situated at the foot of the Malvern Hills in the attractive town of Great Malvern, the Mount Pleasant Hotel is ideally placed for those staying in the region. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, and free WiFi and parking are available to all guests. Full English breakfast was delicious and pastries, fruit and cereals also available. Restaurant serves high quality food, along with a wide range of drinks at the bar to suit all tastes. Menu slightly on the pricy side for the size of the portions, but friendly staff and impressive service make up for this. Overall had a great stay and would come again.

Very nice place to relax and have a cream tea after looking around Malvern. The Gentleman there was very helpful and even put the fire on for us! Very welcoming
