Staff mixed up my reservation... then we lost one of my kids expensive toys as we had to move to a different room. Made a slight mistake whilst crossing the Runcorn/Widnes toll bridge and ended up getting double charged by the shocking company that runs the crossing (Merseyflow). Contacted Halton Borough Council to ask for assistance, explain our genuine mistake and they were just as useless as only interested in their profits. Will do everything in my power to NEVER visit this area again!!!

Most rooms are noisy due to road traffic. Rooms have very few power outlets and none beside the bed for overnight mobile phone charging - not really acceptable in the 21st century! No hair dryer. No real breakfast option (avoid the offer of breakfast in a box - very poor). No air con. Having said all that, the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and the staff are lovely.

Stayed here with my kids and partner. We had a great time room was brill and perfect location staff were very helpful also .

Do not stay in room 1 insted stay in room 103 in the new build Ok room one is a disabled persons room and has a bed thats nearly on the floor and quite uncomfortable and a room thats right next to the frint door so privacy is no exsistamt and the tv in the room is so small and no plugs near the bed and the bathroom smells so clean its worrying and also the bath was so tiny its literally only ment for a disabled person i would say the only thing that was nice here was the wonderful lady on the night shift and afternoon on the front however the day after my horrible night the lady who i presune was the manager said how sorry she was and swaped me to one of the new rooms across the road and omg what a diffrance its clean the tv is amazeing its warm and quiet and just peace full its amazeing what a new syle room can make what a difference and i wish i wad put in here originally what i will say is if u arnt haply with the room just ask and they will put u in a quite on as they have a goodnight garrenty and thankyou to the team herre which are lovely
