Good day out. Has a large beer garden and is under the Runcorn bridge with great views of the estuary. There are a lot of scooter enthusiast who drink here and seem to have a great history with the place.

Kind, friendly locals & landlord. Traditional ways with a modern outlook. Beer, tea or coffee any time day or night. Parking for, cars & bikes. Like music, moving through all ages, DJ sets to match on various afternoons to evenings, something for everyone which the greatest pubs have always offered but this one without pretention...... The landlord has gone as far too show is love for art, decades of music by getting his friend a local artist to paint the musical past.... The pool room decor just fills you with hope & glee as it presents its self as a self portrait of the past music to present, the bars are split into large & small, they show all the sports & have a back room that hosts events from various DJs of different genre's.... Also there be various outdoor events throughout the year..... But what really gets you, is how helpful friendly & welcoming everyone from the landlord to the punters are to everyone who's comes for a good time, singing, dancing.....& Just a amazing pub atmosphere. The Mersey or The Snig as it's known, is well worth a visit by anyone who likes a traditional pub that hosts modern values also.

Not a bad little place this, clean, friendly staff, outdoor seating, function room, bar. Views of the Mersey and jubilee bridge not a lot of parking though
