Stayed here while visiting friends. The lady who greeted us in reception was very nice and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. There is a pub/restaurant on the site, we didn't get in there so can't comment. The location is great just off the A1. When you consider the price this is excellent value.Rooms: 5/5
Bit of general maintenance needed with lick of paint but that could be said of those of us of a certain age. Still comfy beds and clean. Couldn't ask for better base to explore from. Staff are amazing and top quality.Rooms: 4/5
As Michael Jackson once famously said “blood stain on the carpet”, I didn’t expect this to apply to a hotel. Good location though and friendly staff just the blood stain let it down. Otherwise perfect hotel.
As inviting as a dentist’s waiting room, as spartan as a monastery cell! Oh Travelodge, what have you done? The so called ‘refurbishments’ of the rooms means that just about everything has been stripped down to its bare minimum. Don’t bother to unpack, there’s nowhere to put anything. In a twin room, there is a coat hanger above the pillow of the single bed, which makes it uncomfortable for whoever sleeps in it. Post-Covid, but check- in is still after 3:00pm, if you can find anybody to help you. The rooms are not serviced, so make your own bed and you have to go to reception and ask for a towel if you need one. The rooms are clean enough, you can ‘make do’ for a night, but it isn’t the most pleasant of experiences. We used to like this Travelodge for its location is convenient for the Racecourse, unfortunately, this trip was a disappointment. We have also stayed in Travelodge Stirling a couple of times this year, and these same issues apply there too.
Great hotel, clean and everything close by if needed like food shop pub. Staff friendly rooms spacious. No complaints.Rooms: 5/5
Was perfect for what we needed. I believe the receptionist was called Alison and she was really lovely ! Very helpful and helped us to arrange a taxi I will definitely use this travel lodge again. Rooms: Nice room
Good place for a stop off, fully recommended it. Lovely polite helpfull lady at reception, she was obviously multitasking, but still happy at it. Good pub food next door too. I love this side of the country, a different world and the natives are so much nicer..Rooms: 4/5
Room clean and tidy. Staff friendly and they can't help you enough. Cheap price. Highly recommended.Rooms: 5/5
Lost a star for hard beds and pillows, but it's quiet dispite nearby road and i had a satisfactory sleep. Would stay again, especially for the nearby anemiaties.
Room and ensuite are dated and overdue a refresh but it was clean and comfortable. We booked a twin room - there was 2 bathtowels but only 1 hand towel ?!? And no bathmat ?!. Apparently that's a policy ?!? Bit wierd. Friendly receptionist evening and morning.Rooms: 3/5
