I was very impressed with the overall experience. The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are very helpful, service with a smile. Central location in the town centre, with walking distance for every amenity. Good value for money
It ticks all the boxes.nWell- priced including the restaurantnPleasant staff.nClean, tidy rooms.nGreat location.
The Hotel staff are all very nice and approachable. Terence on the front desk really stuck out to me. He was very informative and welcoming upon arrival and he was doing 3 jobs at once due to short staff on that evening and still maintained a high level of manners and patience towards all customers. Nice hotel with nice staff can’t ask for more.
On work, the Travelodge needs the rooms updated-really small. Bathroom is adequate,usual small sink to get shaved in, shower needs updated and fittings properly fixed in place. Meals I found limited, but can't complain on the service from both morning and day staff,always friendly and courteous towards everyone. The staff and service is the best thing but as long as you know- it's not a premier Inn but the location saves it for touristsnEnjoy if your on a limited budget. Cheer's
The rooms are OK, parking a nightmare especially if you have a vehicle with tools, as a tradesman, u don't want to leave your van down the road in Asda. It's free but a lot of people walking around vehicles at night.nTravellodge need to only have access to paying people overnight, as very intimidating for people staying when there are drug dealers doing their thing in bar area, not good & I had a lady staying over in the bar asking if she minded me eating behind as she was scared, will be making a complaint as stayed all week.....
