All these reviews are WAY too harsh. It is what it is. This is a small business competing with the prices and quality of multi-billionare bollar companies. I literally beg you: instead of jumping straight to Google review with your issues, talk to the staff / manager. My mum has very sensitive lungs and unfortunately the room she was placed in had a strong smell possibly cleaning supplies? which wasn't helped by a broken/insanely loud fan. So, instead if complaining to the void of Google reviews and putting down a small business, I asked to speak to the manager who quickly had us reroomed and all was sorted!nnYes, the rooms need a little TLC / a refurb. For all we know, they're in the middle of it and slowly chipping away at it room by room. But let me ask you, how are they going to be able to pay for such refurbishments if you draw off potential customers and kill their spirits?nnOverall:nStaff: Friendly, approachable, and helpfulnManager: Kind and understandingnRoom quality: Adequate-Good for price with a lot of potential.
I was asked to visit a few budget hotels for my friends' wedding guests next year. This was my favourite because of location, price, and comfort, all in a heap budget. This budget hotel offers fantastic value for money! The rooms were nice and comfortable, with all the essentials: tea facilities, TV, and a good shower. The food was nice and the alcholol selection was fine. The location is safe and convenient. The duty manager, come barman, was fun and happy to share his time with you. While there were some issues with cleanliness dirty shower and stains on the radiator, overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations. Perfect for a night's stay at a wedding or a footy match – I'll definitely consider it again! And a great local pub very close, which i have added pictures. A nice walk along the Medway to town also. There is alot going for this hotel.
It could of been 5 stars but 4 is still ok.nFree parking nBar drinks good nFood good nStaff are very polite and welcoming good nIt is a clean hotel and rooms clean good nHowever I had to change rooms room 4 is very old and out dated! Needs a refurb but it was clean!nRoom 15 is good .nWill I return if in Maidstone definitely yes
Really, chain up a 20 year old tv with the PAT test 15 years out of date?nNever seen a thin jar used to house coffee in, its so small you cannot get the tea spoon in it?nSpend a few extra pennies for decent coffee .nGood location but be aware maidstone town centre is very busy at rush hour, it took me 50 minutes from Lenham should have been 20nWorth a stay, yes but not at £60 a night, but what is cheap now.n2 pubs within a 10 minute walk, same for takeaway food and a large free car park.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would!nnTo say it was filthy would be a complete understatement!nnThe room was falling apart. The door was burned and the wood broken and sticking out causing a hazard. Mould and dirt around the shower. Sheets had hairs on them.nnHonestly couldn't be more disgusted! The price was outrageous for what greeted us on arrival
