Absolute gem of a bed and breakfast. From the moment my partner and I turned up we were warmly welcomed at the door and as soon as we entered we was greeted by a lovely fresh and clean smell. At reception we were told everything that we needed to know and also booked our breakfast for the next morning.Smoking areas are outside front or in the back garden and as we are smokers they changed our rooms to make it easier access to the garden. The rooms are lovely and clean and the staff gave us a fresh jug of milk for the fridge in our room for teas and coffees.There is always someone present if you need anything up until midnight. A big plus is from 3pm till 9.30 they do burger meals and toasties as well as egg ham and chips so if you need a cooked meal it's a really good deal. They also offer barrista coffee and hot chocolate for a charge but if you just want tea or instant coffee they are in your room and they will give more if you need them. There is a lovely room off reception with a TV and book section if you want to leave your room and relax. The staff were all really friendly and literally anything you needed they were very helpful. Rooms: The rooms are lovely and clean and has all you need for a good night's sleep Safety: All doors are locked by key cards so no one can enter without one and can't enter your room without yours. If you lose your key card they have a ten pound charge to replace. Food & drinks: They offer cooked meals from 3pm till 9.30 which alot of places don't unless a restaurant is attached. You can buy barrista coffee for 3 pounds and hot chocolate. They don't have a license to sell soft drinks or alcohol but there is a shop opposite where you can purchase these items. Breakfast is from 7am till half 9 and you do need to book night before so they can plate up at the time you give them we chose 8 o'clock and went at 7.50 had toast and tea and the full breakfast was given to us at exactly 8.Food was cooked wonderful and sausages nice and herby.
Perfect for our one night stay. Good location, about 15-20 mins walk into town. All the staff were friendly and keen to make our stay pleasant. Clean room with everything we would expect and the additional bonus of a fridge was handy.Rooms: 5/5
We had a friendly reception after a very long drive. Nice clean room. Small garden/outdoor area. Great location. There are only 4 parking spaces in front, however there is also a street nearby that can be parked on too.Rooms: 5/5
Was ok nothing special had the front bedroom definitely needed black out blinds plus couldn't get radiator on was cold. But was pet friendly as we had our fur baby with us. Plus the owners were lovely. Just a 1 night pit stop.
Really lovely b and b, close to the town, very clean probably the cleanest place we've stayed in a long time, spacious rooms, friendly and very accommodating staff, nice breakfast went for the full English was made fresh to order and could taste it, a lovely night away, first night on our own since our little one was born. Close to the town walked in to have dinner and play mini golf Walkability: Able to walk to the town centre
Highly recommend rock house bed & breakfast. Clean rooms with quality amenities. From the manager to all the staff very helpful. It's situated within walking distance to the town centre also. Thanks Darren.
Awesome! Very nice staff, great service pretty much at all times, everything is clean and tidy. One thing I'm really impressed with is the sink in the bathroom: It's connected to the toilet, so the water is used to flush the toilet. Unfortunately, I can't give you an extra sixth star for environmental friendlyness, that would be well deserved! Thank you for everything! Recommended and would stay there again! Rooms: Everything and more of what I needed: fridge, TV, coffee and tea, a sink, a shower, WiFi, a fan Safety: Doors are locked and can only be opened with the keycard Food & drinks: An English breakfast that will satisfy you completely
Fantastic bed and breakfast. We stayed in top floor room 9, lovely room and ensuite. Great team work here, so friendly. Showed around facilities on arrival, helped in with stuff. Room was ready early so we were given access. Can't recommend enough! Fresh milk and fridge in room a lovely touch. Thank youRooms: 5/5

We had a lovely stay at the Rock House. The owners were incredibly helpful and very nice. The room was spotless and very well fitted out. Breakfast was also lovely. Can't recommend staying here enough. Would definitely stay here again. Rooms: Very clean and well fitted out.
