The staff were extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We found the rooms clean, comfortable and the lodge was ideally situated for our needs. I booked the Travelodge because the booking was easy and straightforward. All in all, a great experience. By the way, to have the Watermill pub just a few yards away was an added bonus!
Lovely staff who dropped off extra towels for us. Only complaints were the remote control on/off button didn't work and the soap ran out in the shower. Did the job for cheap accomodation the night before a visit to the safari park. Room was only £44 for a double and single.
I wouldn't stay here again. The main problem was boy racers outside at night - my baby was waking up terrified when the engines backfired even with windows closed and it was very warm with them closed. Fortunately it did stop so we got some sleep later.nWe had booked two family rooms and initially the person on the desk could only find one room on the booking. Then we found the rooms assigned were on different floors so had to swap to a family and double in order to be on the same floor as each other. The cleanliness could have been better e.g. there was a toenail behind the bathroom door.
Gillian made us so welcome. We were wet through & tired out but felt much better after checking in. Lovely quiet Travelodge in great location. WaterMill close by for excellent food too. Would come back again, for sure!
Great location with usual clean rooms with high standards. Parking is very limited and shared with the Watermill restaurant opposite.
