Great hotel staff are lovely and very friendly. A big pat on the back to Chris who keeps the customers happy behind the bar and clearing the breakfast stuff away.Great location for bars shops and the football stadium. Breakfast was delicious . Just a little nod to the staff check the bread to see if you have run out. I love a bit of toast.nThanks again for a great stay see you soon.
Great value for money, nice rooms and overall experience was lovely. We had gotten breakfast for the next day and it was perfect, couldn’t complain. Staff were very welcoming.
Stayed here with the family in the smallest family room where one bed was at the bottom of the double bed as it was so small. We booked well in advance and yet when we arrived a gentleman was booking a room for 40 pounds a night whereas we paid over a hundred. Breakfast was very disappointing, we went down before 10am and there was nothing left. We had asked when new food was coming out and a gentleman brought 2 sausages out with a pair of tongs and a few hash browns which was barely enough for our family of four, let alone the 2 families that came in after us. There was no variety of breads and yet when we asked the lady said she didn’t have any but a while later came back from the shops with more loafs of bread but didnt put them out. For 9.99 a person there was not a lot to eat and barely an apology for staff when they know how many guests to cater for.
I recently stayed at the Travelodge in Ipswich, and it was a solid choice! The price was really good for what you get. There’s convenient parking available on-site for just £3 for 24 hours, which is a great deal.also break fast for £9.99nThe rooms were a decent size and clean, making it a comfortable place to stay. Just a heads up the check-in time is after 2 PM, so plan accordingly. Overall, I had a nice experience and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a budget-friendly stay in Ipswich!
Dirty reception, poor check in, extra charges not mentioned on website. Got to the room...ridiculously hot, at least 5 degrees c over the outside. A tiny bit of loo roll, only enough for a single wee. Dirty corridor..I could go on. Very disappointed, if you are charging as much for a room at least make it comfortable
