Can't complain with the service, arrived at 11.30pm on Friday night. Staff very pleasant and professional. Room was clean and everything there, tea, coffee, remote etc. Location looks a little run down, so think it's an abandoned industrial estate from the outside. Little dated inside but the staff are great with what they've been given. I was happy as three of us but I'd rethink if I was a single woman staying, with security in press and area.
Stayed for one night. Derek was welcoming at front desk, and very helpful. The room was a little tired/outdated, but it was clean & tidy, the bedding and towels immaculately clean, the bed so comfortable and for less than £60. I did get locked out at 5:45am as I took my dog for a walk, the main door locks until 6am and your key does not let you in. I rang the reception buzzer for over 10 mins as per the instructions, and even though there was a lady vacuuming reception, she didn't/wouldn’t let me in. Had to phone my daughter who was asleep to come down and let me in!
This is the second time we have stayed here as we always go to Tunes festival in St Germans which is only a short car journey. It’s very chilled, basic, but has everything we need. Staff are friendly and beds are comfortable, good value too
Sheets had stains on them, litter scattered all out front. We paid for the breakfast expecting a cooked breakfast as you would get in a premier inn for the same price and was handed a cardboard box with a tiny bottle of water in it, a small carton of milk and a tub of cornflakes. This cost around £10 added on. No options, you get what you’re given. I usually choose premier inns over Travelodge, this is actually my first and last time giving Travelodge a go. What a joke. Subway have also hired the rudest employee I have ever met, and if you check their reviews you will see I am not the only person with this opinion, so that also negatively impacted my stay here.
For what you pay, we never had any issues. This is obviously an older style lodge but for us for 2 nights was perfect. Despite being close to major routes it was quiet overnight and we had no complaints.
