We had an evening family meal here. It was a Wednesday steak night special. All of our meals were excellent. Well cooked and large portions... nobody went hungry but we did manage the included ice cream dessert which to our delight had a portion of clotted cream nAlongside the great meals we all received a friendly welcome and great table service.
The best mixed grill in Plymouth. You can't get a better little pub, I don't stay as I live locally, Beautiful views with a brilliant service. I couldn't eat it all, took some home my little hound. If you are passing pop in for a drink or a mix grill
THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS EVER !! my default food at a place I've not been before is either fish and chip , gammon or curry 1/2 and 1/2 . Myself and my wife found this gem by accident on a trip to Plymouth and were not disappointed. Lovely pub atmosphere, friendly staff and the food was great . We will be going back 100%
I have been to this Pub many times now and can’t express how this place draws you back to the lovely owners Neal and Clare along with the exceptional staff they have, Kirsty, Eloise, Chloe and Pearl and Chefs. The rooms on the top floor have a small balcony to look across the river Tamar and watch the activity going on, these rooms are spacious with large very comfortable beds and beautiful light oak furniture, plus a good selection of tea and coffee facilities. The food goes beyond what most pubs offer and a lot of it is home made. An ideal weekend stay or longer with many places around to visit.
Excellent place to stay. I used to live there and they have absolute success here. Lovely staff very welcoming. Clean comfortable reasonably priced rooms. Great quality good value food. Lovely views. A definite favourite shame it’s such a long way from Yorkshire
