Rooms were clean, had all you need, but bring a hairdryer. There is a Costa for breakfast and a pub for dinner. However it's not far from the city centre with plenty of choices to eat plus the train station if you wish to travel out. The staff were all lovely.
Excellent clean hotel, but more importantly, the staff there are second to none. Friendly, helpful, and a credit to the company. Travelodge, take note look after these wonderful ladies. Best I have encountered
Came for a concert at the town hall with my daughter and son in law and stayed in a family room. It was spotless and plenty big enough. The beds were very comfortable and although the bedding was thin it was very warm. The receptionist was very friendly and chatty as soon as we walked in. The only thing I would suggest is a better extractor fan for the bathroom because when you had a shower it made the whole bathroom wet and more tea coffee and milk in the room but we only had to ask and was given some more. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Stayed here for 5 nights and to be fair I found the staff very friendly, rooms clean and location to the centre of Huddersfield spot on. Pillows were a little firm for my liking but that’s just me. I was staying on the 3rd floor and only had one night of noise from the people opposite, also, I awoke to the smell of cigarettes wafting under my door. For the money I thought staying here was worth 4/5 stars. It’s a Travelodge after all. Oh, there’s a Costa coffee dead opposite and a very welcoming pub with good quality food at a very reasonable price.
The place itself is actually nice, but the WiFi/internet is just completely unacceptable. I actually paid for 24 hours WiFi. However it only allowed connection for two devices, AND once a device was connected it CANNOT be changed!! Meaning that after my partner and I connected our phones to the WiFi, I couldn’t connect my laptop as only the already connected device is allowed to use the internet. I believe most people who will use the internet nowadays will agree that this is absolutely absurd.
