Clean, comfortable and inexpensive. Staff frendly. Comfortable bed with small ensuite bath room. Only negative were the tiny squares of toilet paper? Must be the cheapest rolls available. Lifts to all floors. We booked end of corridor away from lifts.nnStaff friendly, 24hr reception. There is a general convinience store at ground level open 6.00am to 9.00pm. Free onsite parking. Opposite a Costa coffee shop and a pub the serves food and drink.
For my friend's stag do, we stayed in the Travelodge and it was wonderful. Not just very good value for money, Kerry and the team were so helpful and friendly. They gave us tips on where to go in Huddersfield and helped with all our other questions. The rooms were exactly as needed and hosted all of us comfortably. And the location was great for getting to and from the city. Thank you for a wonderful stay and for looking after us!
On arrival Kerry who was on duty at reception made us very welcome told us what we needed to know about our stay ,nOur room was very well presented clean and fresh smelling with towels provided.nAll in all a very positive experience and would definitely recommend and we would return to this Travel Lodge if visiting Huddersfield again.nAs there is a fantastic pub called the Yorkshire rose right next to the hotel.
Always lovely staff in here. Vending machine and a shop next door. Needed glue for a broken shoe and bought some snacks. Great convenience ‍
Only complaint was very hot in room but they can't control the weather. They did however supply a desk fan. Place very clean and tidy.
