Don't know... looks like a nice spot, and we were really looking forward to our stay. We had booked it in September 2019, for a ukulele festival in June 2020.... Because of the Covid shutdown, cancelling EVERYTHING, we attempted, starting mid April, to cancel our 4 day stay at Lux. Emailed the correct address, three times. and, called twice... emails never answered. Blown off on the calls... ' the manager will have to approve, but should be no problem'. of course, there should be no problem, but, said refund had not been refunded... STILL waiting to get any acknowledgement of a refund... Keep that in mind.... Will call again tomorrow, for the third time... :-/
Booked it after viewing the pictures. Worst apartment ever booked. NOT worth the money at all. The place had lights fused disgusting kitchen. Even the bin was not fully emptied. The Jacuzzi did not work and had called the apartment staff who never turned up to fix the problem. Was promised a balcony. Not a balcony at all no lifts so walk a lot of stairs. Avoid if possible this place is 0 star rated.
Sheets are clean, bed is comfy, floor is not squeaky. Everything else is kinda subpar. Our particular room had a wonky door lock, and the kitchen sink sprays everywhere. Our family is staying here as a temporary place since we just moved to the UK, so we have a baby and 7 suitcases and a pram. The lift is broken so we had to schlep all of our stuff up several flights of stairs. We were a little terrified to find that the Google rating was a solid one, after seeing 3-star ratings on bookings.com, but we are happy to report that the place is really not that bad, especially for the amount of space and the price. But, we definitely won't stay here again, not with a baby.
This place is absolutely terrible. Smells of damp as soon as you walk in. Everything seems to be broken. We came home after dinner to over 100 teens in the lobby stairwell and down our apartment hallway partying with whippets and coke bags littering the floor. When we asked them to let us through to our room and please be quiet we were threatened. We called the so called 24 hour concierge service to no answer at all and ended up having to call the police. Do not stay here! Terrible. If I could give minus stars I would. Awful.
The property has cancelled my reservation on the day of my parents arrival, so the day when they should check in. The reason was an issue with details of my debit card which I checked few times, to make sure that payment can go through. However, the place hasn't tried to contact me, they basically cancelled my reservation and that's all, no explanation at all! So my parents have no place to stay and they came for my graduation?! Awful experience, unprofessional customer service who never calls back and never picks up the phones when I was trying to contact them. Very unpleasant situation, I wouldn't recommend .
Terrible... called to inform them that I would be coming later then expected didn’t get chance to say why I called just told that I need to make preauthorisation payment and send all my ID. And not only my ID but my bosses too because she had made it with her card. There was no email telling me that there was a problem with my booking and I should contact them straight away nothing. Just an email saying that they confirmed my booking. In very small writing it says the reserve right to ask for this authorisation and ID but no urgency to it. Woman I spoke on phone sounded inexperienced like she didn’t really know what was going on either. Total sham. I’d advise not to book there. In the end I had to go somewhere else.
The apartment hadn't been cleaned properly and the towels in the bathroom were all hand towels and some were filthy. Two smoke alarms had been disconnected and a third was hanging from the roof. The Wi-Fi code did not allow us access to the internet either. Noisy neighbours smoking weed didn't help matters either.
Fab apartment...got everything you need.. excellent location..but no 8 apartment couple shouting and arguing all through night! Hope they are not permanent residents. The entrance bit Scruffy and smells.. The apartment great though
Really terrible... no towels no tissue... run down...nothing like pics...total mis-sell.... positive reviews seemed to be paid reviews...as there is no way in hell these apartments can be considered living conditions....absolutly disgusting place....
Disgusting set up. Jacuzzi doesn't work. Photos on website are misleading and no lift so you will have to walk up 75 stairs. Bare in mind.
