Wish I could put zero. Would have been nice to be told that it was self check in. Couldn't check in for 2 hours due to receptionist sleeping! Outdated and mouldy room, light bulbs in bathroom not work, mugs upside down on a tray and stuck down to dirt, never again!

My experience wasn't good. Bare wires, broken furniture, room not clean, shower facility not clean, someone had obviously used microwave as BIG food spillage on plate, mouldy carpet, peeling wallpaper, altogether a bad experience. Payed in advance for 2 nights, which when booking said pay at hotel, only stayed one. Wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here, I definitely wouldn't again, didn't want to give any stars but couldn't give review without.

Old tired room. Very outdated. Did not sleep well. Would not stay here again. Stayed one night, have not seen any staff. No personal service. It is self check in. We received a text telling us a code for a small safe in hallway where our keys could be collected. Did not stay here for breakfast so can't comment on standard of food but in our room cups were greasy not very clean so took the decision to eat breakfast elsewhere. Was woken up at 4 in morning to somebody banging on back door to get in. I had only just gone to sleep and could not get back to sleep. This hotel is below budget, room feels like an old bedsit property.

I never leave reviews for anything but I leave Two stars for this hotel due to location to town centre and free WiFi and the fact that we had a fridge/micro/kettle in the luxury double room. It's a very large room with a big ensuite. The pictures are very outdated. The hotel is in bad need of refurbishment and judging by other reviews this has been going on since 2015. It's now late 2017. Two years to refurb is a long time. Simple things like light bulbs that work and batteries in the remote make a huge difference and I may not have noticed the huge water damage mark to ceiling or the fact that pictures showed a corner Jacuzzi bath and the bathroom we had housed a small oblong Jacuzzi bath....that didn't work. I was very angry that i had actually paid to stay in this room but I had no one to voice this too as I saw not one single solitary staff member. Check yourself in and out. The cleanliness of hotel is average. And it was quiet when I stayed there. Would never rebook to go back.
