The rooms were very clean and very well presented. It was cosy and warm. The staff were very friendly and helpful. As people have said Sainsbury's literally nearby. We went to the Cider museum, which is a 3 minute walk from the hotel. It is a short walk into Hereford. Will definitely stay again.
I’ve stayed here a number of times in the past, usually over the Christmas/NY period.nThe rooms were what you would expect really but the real draw to this hotel is its location as it’s very easy to get to and in close proximity to the City centre.nUnfortunately it doesn’t have a bar or anything like that, however Sainsbury’s is a stone’s throw away so everything you need is right there, really.
The rooms were somewhat clean, though they didn't refil the hand soap before we got the room. There was loads of parking. And the walk to the center isn't too long. A bit difficult for people with disabilities due to the surrounding curves but doable.
The plus points of this Travelodge were the free car park and it's location which meant it was an easy walk into the centre of Hereford. The downside was that unlike others we have stayed in it had no bar /restaurant area so there is no where to relax other than in the room and no breakfast option. The room was fine and at the saver rate we paid good value.
Stay here occasionally when working in the area. The rooms are basic but generally clean and tidy. The wifi can be a bit flaky but is adequate. Staff on the front desk are always very friendly. Prices vary hugely and when they are up at the £150 I don't think it is good value for money. It's an £80-£90 hotel really.
