Just returned from an excellent 10 nights. From the moment of booking very good customer experiences. We originally booked for 7 nights and phoned to expand to 10. The Gold 2 caravan was a good size and nice and clean it had everything we needed in it. All staff were nice and friendly. My daughter who was named Dancing Danielle by Patrick really enjoyed the entertainment in the day and in the evening. She says "Thank You . She has now definitely decided she is going to be a holiday entertainer when she is old enough. We went with our dog and was nice to have somewhere to sit within the complex with her. The first few evenings were spent in the garden room swapping between us to watch the entertainment and keeping an eye on Danielle. Then discovered the outside patio area and watched the Entertainment through the glass in the fire door/swapped going in. Danielle enjoyed the slide in the pool and playing mini golf. The playground additionally had a good variety of equipment for all ages and was in excellent condition. Beautiful clifftop walks that take you into the village. There are additionally some enjoyable places to visit in the area please see my profile/follow for photos etc. Overall a very, very enjoyable holiday. Thank you x
The Restaurant Staff was very friendly and helpful, from people that were serving food/drinks the entertaining team including. Park is dog friendly and clean which is a big bonus! Good spaces in between caravans. Great location ref seaside, all tho it is not accessible but that was not a problem to us. I would recommend it.
The lodge was lovely. Only trouble was the smell from the sewage place next door. Couldn't use the decking. The evening hall to us was too small. There was long ques for food and drink and no seats inside. The swimming pool was nice and its a good base for pleasure wood hills theme park
Clubhouse was awesome but just a tad on the pricey side, the arcade change machine had a habit of keeping pound coins and the air hockey table was scandalous at £1 for 60 seconds, you can take dogs in the garden room for those weirdos who are obsessed by their dogs yeah you Good choice of booze at the bar. Our caravan was quality and very warm, too warm when we walked in would recommend this park definitely
Caravan was a little tired, with badly stained and stale seating cushions, broken frying pan, grubby and sticky cutlery drawer, some cobwebs, dirty windows. This was our third visit to Broadland Sands, and the previous one on Cliff Fields was exceptional in comparison, at the same grade Gold Plus. Boiler didn't work and maintenance team dealt with this really quickly and efficiently. Staff always friendly and very helpful. Very much 'end of season' feel. Four stars based on customer service, otherwise would be three. Wished I'd brought swimming things as pool looked very clean, well managed and inviting! Had one evening meal, quality fair, very noisy environment but expected that.
We stayed at Broadland Sands Holiday Park for 4 nights and it wasn't long enough! Close to the beaches, if your looking to go then I'd recommend Gorleston Beach, that was our favourite. The park itself was well kept, the caravan furnished nicely and was comfortable. We stayed in the gold plus. It offered plenty of crockery, glasses, pans etc to use whilst staying for convenience. We were close to the park facilities. The pool was clean and well maintained, the park was easily accessible and my little boy 3 loved it. There were also other activities on site but we didn't get round to using them. Go karts, climbing wall, mini golf etc We only saw the children's entertainment once but it engaged the kids and parents. We sampled the menu which is good however service was a little slow and sloppy but that's the only slight negative I can find.
As part of a party of 20, with children of all ages, we spent a weekend here. Overall we had a nice break, and found lots to do. The entertainment was mainly in house but good quality, and the singing was great. Accommodation varied, and each one had small but annoying issues. Mainly the bedding, note to management, fitted sheets required! Also small cleaning issues, maybe a bit more quality control required.
Bar overpriced, thankfully didn't try the food due to previous reviews. Constant smell of sewage as works nearby so be prepared for that. Day passes work out cheaper than buying a weeks entertainment pass if your in private rental. They obviously can't do maths. £10 a day for family of 4 adults pay £5 each and kids are free but if paying for 3/4 nights they want £90. Wouldn't return, have stayed in many caravan parks in Suffolk/Norfolk and this has been our least favourite. Will stick to haven.
We love this place and the staff, we come regularly. Unfortunately this trip was dampped by the fact we had to wait 4 hours for a high chair and then I was made to feel like the one that caused the issue. Spoke to a friendly member of staff at 4pm on arrival and requested a high chair and paid. I was told that housekeeping were busy but the chair would be brought up ASAP. At 630pm still no chair and my toddler was wanting dinner. I phoned and was told the high chair was on the way. Finally at 8pm I went down to the club house to see what was going on. I was told that they did not have a record of me paying for a high chair on the system. I explained what I had done and that I had paid at 4pm. Finally got the high chair just after 8pm. The next day I tried to speak to the manager but I was told she was busy and would call me. Then the lady at reception said that they had tried to contact me the night before. I had no missed calls and at this point I was made to fell like it was my fault. It left a bad taste as all I was asking for was some recognition that we had been put out clearly from the the company's computer system not registered I had indeed paid but I was made to feel like I was the one who had the problem. This was not fair. Still 3 stars as we generally get on well at this park but it was just a bad experience.
Lovely place very clean and well presented, staff very welcoming , nice 2 bed van with a lovely little welcome pack of cleaning essentials. Toilet rolls provided, no Frying pan which was disappointing as we couldnt cook breakfast . Most disappointing is the bedroom smelt of sewage especially the ensuite the stench kept me awake at night it was really awful we had to have the windows open . We Did mention it to site but it seems nothing was done and no feed back on our complaint. Grounds were tidy and well kept Shame really as everything else was fine Didn't use club house so no comments on that
