Great play to stay for a comfy sleep. Reception staff were welcoming and friendly and explained everything there was to know. Family room is large enough and decent sized bathroom. Everything you need is there bar an iron but i.m told one can be requested. Parking is free and plenty of it. Conveniently placed next to the Toby carvery. Even though our window faced the main road I heard no traffic noise. Would recommend

Fabulous as always. Great staff, lovely location and loads of parking. Newish hotel, so very high quality rooms. I've been coming since it first opened and have never been disappointed. As a bonus looks over my old offices at Orange (EE) from 20 years ago 😁 PS good travel links into town centre , taxi about a fiver. Also very easy to get to from A1 and A66. Toby Carvery just behind and supermarket , convenience stores, Costa and takeaways within 5 to 10 minute walk. 15 minute walk to 'brick train' and a good central location for touring. Thoroughly recommend it.

Really helpful staff friendly atmosphere. Clean, fresh rooms and quiet so we got a good nights sleep too.

Travelodge Darlington is easy to find and well situated .The staff on reception are very well mannered and polite which I believe makes a stay anywhere all the better and puts you at ease.The inside is very well maintained and looked after ,now onto the rooms you notice the doors for each room seem very close together but the sound proofing is very adequate with no noise from either way .Our room was a family one which was a large bed and two singles which were comfortable no complaints from any of us.The tea and coffee was adequate for us to use.Bathroom facilities were fine ,bath tub seemed quite small but fine if you like a shower ,towels were nice and clean too could have done with a couple of more being a family room but I'm sure these would be supplied if asked for.1 thing I'd change is the WiFi situation first half hour free then at a cost ,just had it onto the room cost with more or less everything we have nowadays using internet it would be a better idea.Would I stay here again ,yes it was comfortable,clean and perfect for what we wanted.
