We stay here regularly and are satisfied with it normally, while working away on nearby hs2 job , it has shops , garage and places for getting food on its doorstep, But my last stay this week, I was woken up by the bin man rolling the commercial bins past my window at 5.30am , didn’t need a alarm clock but wasn’t getting up till 6.15am .I mean if the council bin lorries com round at that time where I live ,there would be hell on . I wanted to complain but no one at reception every time I passed it , this is the reason for the poor score along with a poor night’s sleep,as this happens at travelodge exell in London where we stay but it’s not bins it’s a delivery driver delivering bar stuff at 4 in the morning. No consideration.
Comfortable stay with friendly staff and a handy location for our overnight stop before an early meeting. The room was clean and quiet, though the décor felt a little tired. Would happily return.
Reasonable room, good for place to sleep and go.nThey could add a couple of glasses for teeth cleaning or in my case wine, who likes wine from a mugnBasic accomodation but that's fine for a stop over place
Standard Travelodge. Rooms are good, clean with basic facilities.nLocation has a maccy D's, a Tesco and a Lidl with a bakery all within a short walk. Ask for a room facing the car park as the opposite side is noisy.nCurrently charging units being installed in the car park so there is some disruption.
stayed in room 25, absolutely disgusting, room was like a sauna couldnt open the window due to road noise, brown stain on bed sheet, moldy stain on pillowcase, but the worst of it urine smell in room was horrendous,havent smelt anything like it asked to change but all rooms were full. will never stay here again. avoid at all costs.
