Travelodge Aylesbury

It was good for the price I paid. Small, very basic room. No hairdryer or glasses for the bathroom. Only one big towel between the two of us. Very comfortable bed though and a good night's sleep. Incredibly convenient for the theatre

The room was comfortable and clean, the shower curtain does nothing and fills the bathroom floor with water, with no drain to soak away. The evening meal was appalling!! The staff who were Cooking clearly had no experience, chips were soggy in the middle rock hard at the edges, couldn't even cut the onion rings they were like rock, there are very few items on the menu but still got our orders wrong twice! We waited over an hour to bring fries and a burger then it was wrong, then waited another half hour and it was wrong again, We asked to speak to a manager and were told that there was no manager until the morning! So couldn't even complain at the time. Poor management practices.

Good value, really friendly staff, Tasha on the front desk is very welcoming and extremely bubbly always has a smile on her face, aswell as all the other amasing staff.

Booked hotel for the theatre just a 2 min walk away. Great location. Easy parking and great breakfast.

We always book here when visiting friends on the area. Rooms are clean and tidy. Hotel is kept clean. The staff are attentive in particular Tasha, who recognises us everytime and is amazing. Breakfast is basic and they are not willing to vary from the menu offered. I asked for poached eggs and this wasn't possible. A minor irritation but worth mentioning. Will definitely be back though
