I've stayed at this hotel on many occasions. Reception team exceptional, warm, friendly and welcoming. Room very clean, bed comfortable had a great night's sleep. Strongly recommended.
Just stayed for 3 night long weekend. Extremely polite reception staff, rooms spotless and comfy, no noise and great location in town centre. Definitely would stay there again.
Stayed at the hotel as a one off as we were having bedroom furniture delivered the next day. Upon entering the reception area we were greeted by Alison who was warm, chatty, welcoming and very friendly. She told us details we needed regarding eating at the hotel and nothing seemed like too much trouble. She chose a lovely corner room for us overlooking the canal. The room was clean and tidy and just the right size for our one night stay. The room was on the 3rd floor and and was very quiet with barely noticeable outside noise The bathroom was small but very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was amazing and really comfortable. Both had the best night's sleep in a long time. Would definitely come back.
What a lovely place, a chance discovery passing through and so happy to have found it. Very nice location, the sat nav took me straight to a multi story car park shared with Waitrose, the car parking thing is a little odd, parking for the travel lodge on floor 3 or 2 only, then down the carpark, round the corner. The entrance is near the canal boat and its a nice view, also right next to a theatre. Pay as display in the car park via the machines or Ringo. The room was nice, very clean and stylish. Staff are amazing. Vending machine a bar and breakfast served. Can't fault it at all thank you and I'm sure I'll be back again
Basic but comfortable room, very quiet & a nice view over the canal.nOpted for an evening meal in the restaurant, bit of a disaster to say the least but staff were very helpful & apologetic in sorting things out & it certainly wouldn't put us off staying here again.
