Lovely friendly reception, clean rooms that look like new and a great location. Although the parking seems a little tricky it's actually really easy - drive up the ramp and keep on going to the top floor not under cover. It was fine.
Very pleasantly surprised. Clean, good food, & great location, very helpful that we could bring our dog too. Great service in particular Allison on front desk / bar / basically everything - she is awesome!!nWould definitely stay again.
Alison in the Aylesbury Travelodge was outstanding. Absolutely lovely, personable and attentive. First Class face-to-face customer services. 5 Stars...nnWhere it went wrong: I needed to stay another night so thought I could go to reception to sort it. Not their fault in the slightest it wasn't Alison but I was told I had to book online. Fair enough; what I hadn't realised was it defaulted to the cheapest day, not the day I needed booking. Within seconds I'd noticed the error but couldn't amend it I have a critically ill family member in hospital and had been up most of the time and was absolutely shattered and stressed. There was absolutely no compassion from whomever I called at customer services and I ended up paying a lot more, plus an extra £10 for my mistake and no discount from my Defence Discount 5/10%. I wasn't happy put it that way and it has dampened my experience of staying with Travelodge in future. There's just no interface if you do have a similar issue. Taking into account the extra charges I could have easily stayed in a nicer hotel in the area so that's what I did the very next day.
Great location, service with a friendly smile on reception and at breakfast. Room was good for a travel lodge, clean and tidy all we needed for a 1 night stay!nAnd view down on the canal was lovely!
Rooms were great, clean, large and modern. The staff were super friendly and helpful.nThe catering staff deserve a special mention as I’m vegan so they went out of their way to make sure I was catered for with decent meals. Highly recommend this hotel.nThank you
