Small but ok room, bed was comfy and all staff was really nice and helpful. And that's all the good things I have to say about this hotel. The bathroom was small with a tiny shower, the water went from too hot to boiling hot in the shower (and I like really hot showers), and there was no cold water in the mornings! Also, you only get to register two devices in the wifi that you cannot change, despite paying 3 pounds per night. Finally, we paid 5 pounds per person for breakfast, and we found out that it was a box that contained a small packet of cornflakes, a packet of orange juice, a packet of long life milk and a tiny muffin. Nowhere on the website says that it is not a proper breakfast, be careful about this!! and the worst thing is that the adjacent pub offers full English breakfast for 4.5 pounds!

A bit of a tired place, staff just give you the key, no directions, no mention of breakfast which you have paid for. My room overlooked the car park, which was in constant use until about midnight and from about 5am. I heard every conversation, door slam and engine start. Not a good night's sleep, as every sound was carried in through the closed windows. Plus TV from room next door was loud too. Beer was cheap in the Toby next door at £2.90 a pint!. Sadly I had work the next morning, so I only had one. Breakfast was a choice, sorry no choice, of cereal in a box to have on the go. At nearly £6 I clearly picked the wrong thing when booking the room. Got to go back to Birmingham next month. I will be staying elsewhere

The hotel facilities where okay. Apart from we had 1 bath towel between the two of us. The room was cold on arrival but after turning the heating on and leaving the room for 2 hours when we got back it was warm. The reception is quite long to get back to as you have to walk all the way back around. There was hardly any soap in the dispenser so had to go out and purchase some. At the reception desk I was told check out was 2pm which the following morning received a call saying check out was at 12. Therefore I wasn’t in the hotel as I was having my lunch. I then got back to pack my belongings and within 10 minutes of being in the room to pack, there was a knock at the door asking for the room key. Also had to pay £3 extra via online payment for WiFi. As it wasn’t included in the hotel price like any usual hotel we have attended. Could of been better.

Bedding had marks on it and was ripped open at one side. Otherwise comfortable and had TV access and a shower and toilet but no hair dryers. Very basic, and a little over priced.

Easily accessible. Great rooms. Very spacious. Fridnly staff. Great service. Been here twice.
