what a gem!!!!!after being let down by another place Saturday lunch time,we rang and booked a room straight away. thankfully they had a vacancy. the lady was very friendly and helpful, even booked our evening meal . this other place did us a big big favour. what a wonderful weekend. breakfast!!!! best ever. thankyou all so much xx

Easy to find, lovely warm welcome on arrival. Rooms furnished keeping in with the age and character. Very clean & tidy. Breakfast was good using locally sourced eggs & meat, plus lots of option. The only thing that would have improved it for me was to have an evening meal option, after a day of traveling & work I didn't fancy the local pub which was very close.
