A 19th century Rothschild Lodge House with private gardens. An ideal location for a small wedding ceremony, wedding venue, private dining and conference venue. what a gem!!!!!after being let down by another place Saturday lunch time,we rang and booked a room straight away. thankfully they had a vacancy. the lady was very friendly and helpful, even booked our evening meal . this other place did us a big big favour. what a wonderful weekend. breakfast!!!! best ever. thankyou all so much xx

Lovely little hotel.room quiet and clean with good sized bathroom.excellent breakfast.

Easy to find, lovely warm welcome on arrival. Rooms furnished keeping in with the age and character. Very clean & tidy. 
Breakfast was good using locally sourced eggs & meat, plus lots of option.
The only thing that would have improved it for me was to have an evening meal option, after a day of traveling & work I didn't fancy the local pub which was very close.
