I stayed with Miv and John whilst walking the Ridgeway. I had tried to walk it in 2023 but suffered an injury during the walk and had to cancel at the last minute. Miv very kindly held my paid for booking over to this year, which she did not need to do. I'm glad she did as this B&B is excellent The room was great and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent. Miv doesn't provide an evening meal but she will pick up a ready meal or whatever you want from the town so you can prepare it in the kitchen provided. there is a lovely dining and living room area. Miv insisted on cooking my lasagne and garlic bread in her oven instead of using the microwave in the kitchen, which was also very kind of her. The town has lots of shops, pubs etc and is about a mile away which is easily walkable. Miv and John clearly take a great prided in looking after their guests and do a wonderful job of it. The accommodation is right on the trail so no detour needed. I would highly recommend this B&B and would love to stay again.
This was a great find for our one night stay in Princes Risborough. Beautiful home and wonderful hosts. Our hosts gave us information and history on the town, and took us a round a bit of sight seeing. We loved our stay here and would definitely be back. The breakfast was fantastic the next morning too.
I stayed there a while back and was looking to go again soon. Perfect location for walking the National Ridgeway trail as it passes right by the house. Hosts are wonderful and work really hard to make your stay warm and welcoming.
Stayed for 1 night I september 19 , very nice house comfortable and immaculate and clean. Great breakfast Landlady was very understanding as I was arriving late on a Sunday evening.nWould love to return and spend a weekend .
People who are going to walk The Ridgeway often ask us where are the best places to stay. I know by asking other walkers where they have stayed, and what they thought of the places. The Ridgeway Lodge always gets very good feedback, so I'm very happy to recommend it.
