Avoid at all costs. Sadly find the receptions rude when answering questions and their attitude / tone towards people leaves a lot to be desired. Near impossible to get an appointment unless you ring up first thing and get lucky from my experience. Practice falls well short of the basic ability to actually function.nnDoctors and nurses are fine and had zero issue with them when I am able to get an appointment, it's the actual running of the place and first contact with patients that is at best severly, or at worst non-existent.
I have been a member of this surgery my whole life, and I have never found it so difficult to get an appointment. You need to be on the phone from first thing in the morning, and if you're not cut off a number of times you're told that they are at capacity and to call back.nnThere is no facility to book at appointment in advance, and you can't get one without first speaking to a GP on the phone which is almost impossible.nnWhen you do get an appointment, the GPs and staff are great.
Tried twice to order prescription for my elderly mother. Used their online app but as they hadn't added the items to the other regulars, despite them being ordered for past year, they were overlooked. I phoned and called in and was told to phone again this morning. They said phone @ 11am but thankfully I phoned at 10am. Took 45 minutes to get through even though I was caller 13. I was told prescription was ready but they weren't sure if it was in the surgery or at the chemist. Then said they were closing half day for Easter break. Had to order a taxi to get there in time, surgery didn't have it said it was sent to chemist the previous afternoon. Went to chemist. Sorted!nSurely this service can be improved on?nnFollow on review.nI neded a call back to get an appointment and bloods. This was sorted same day and Dr Gilroy had arranged to see me after bloods taken. She was very pleasant, good listener and sorted out exactly what was needed and followed up with a phone call the following week with results.nSo good to be able to report positive feedback.
Whole practice needs total review covering everything, from customer care to follow ups for patients.nReception staff need retraining on how not to stonewall ill peoplenContacts and information sharing with patients needs urgent attention.nSo disappointing, as everything is left in limbo to falll through the cracks.nnRQIA needs to be called in
I am pregnant and try to contact with them for appointment but they are not given me any appointment some times they are not receive any call and some times they say we are full book for today, I am trying call from 8.30 am. They have very bad service for appointments. I am not feel well and I have pain
