Absolutely brilliant! Simon and his team deserve all the accolades they get. Well organised, well priced and well done, all in all, 5/5 experience. Ive seen some negative reviews on the manors and lack of consideration from some of the guests- this is of course experienced a little, but Simon and his team CANNOT take responsibility for peoples ignorance. Well done Simon, we loved our stay this year in the dangerzone for the tattoo and we will see you for more years going. Top job mate.
Great site to stay at during the airshow week. Pitches are available for the week. But advance booking is a must as it will get fully booked up by the end of January!!!! Site could do with a few more toilets and showers. But we have our own so not an issue. There is a small take away on show days selling burgers and bacon baps etc coffee etc. The walk to fairford village takes 20-30 min and there are pubs and a coop for supply's. The walk to the show ground would probably take best part of an hour. But unless you want to see static stuff then you won't need to go in and the view from the site is better in my opinion.
Awsome. If your here you know why. Toilets food and the view in my opinion of the air show. Take your litter to the bin afterwards.
Been going here since the 90's when small. Dodgy caravan serving good bacon rolls. Now it's a proper camping, park and view site with all the amenities you expect. Nicely organised.
2nd year at the camp site. Been here for 4 days, just so good. Perfect for photography and the planes are very low.
As usual we always use Totterdown for the RAIT at Fairford. The facilities and access are always well managed with staff on hand to guide you to your parking area. On this occasion we needed the use of a gazebo as one of our party has health needs that require attention and privacy at times, hence staff simply brilliant in attending to our needs. As usual the position is superb for watching the days events and fly overs which are spectacular. On sight facilities are well catered for Ice Cream Vans along with numerous opportunities to purchase burgers etc etc and toilet facilities ate all close at hand. Each year I take my hat off to the way Totterdown Hill sight is organised, simply brilliant and couldn't wish for better.
Camping in the dangerzone, this site opens up once a year for the Royal International Air Tattoo. You can camp onsite or park and view, check the prices online. If you love fast jets this site is great as the aircraft displays are right over the top of you. The campsite is located on the side of a hill overlooking Fairford airbase.
Lovely campsite, just very disappointed with the service of the food that’s on offer. Definitely take your own. Extremely disorganised and the manager was very rude and unpleasant. We definitely won’t be staying there again
Fantastic location for the airshow, really friendly staff. Great food and free drinking water.
