Really lovely quiet campsite. We stayed Sunday to Friday and there were only 6/7 other campers staying in the field. Great facilities, including shower, toilet block, washing up area and also a washing machine. Lovely setting, there is a woodland that they planted in 1999. Which you can walk around and enjoy. Patrick is very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We will be back!
Fantastic 6 days in this lovely part of England. We stopped over summer bank holiday, it was busy but fun. Visit and enjoy.
A lovely small campsite with all the basics. Perfect if you want to be out of the way, but close enough to walk into town if you want to. Access to the woods for the kids to play in and build dens. Very quiet and chilled
Lovely Campsite. Only one shower and a few toilets in wooden outside huts, though a bit nicer than just a wooden shed. It is quiet, just fields so great spaces for the kids to play. Recommend
literally just turned up here and asked to stay as we was rejected from another campsite due to having a van snobby caravan club and the lovely lady can’t remember what she was called managed to get us sorted. She was very lovely. The facilities are very clean and well kept and is just around the corner from the Cotswolds wildlife park. Would definitely stay again.
The staff are helpfull and frendly the site is still having sum upgrades to facilitates and what i have seen of the new shower room if you use it plz be careful the unit is very slipery when in use the clean down room has a sink and a washer mashene lookes very nice and new unfortunately I can't say that about the men's toilets as you can see in the pictures sorry we spent a lot of time laughing about these toilets but the best part of my stay is depending on the wether there is a excellent view of milater aircraft taking off from the raf Brize Norton base located close to the camp bird's of pray are quite common circling the field that we were on and other wildlife because it is also in close proximity to a lake and a lovely nature reserve also plenty of footpaths and Scenic walks if you're into hiking and other outdoor activities P.s if the owners reads this ty for a lovely brake
Such a beautiful area with nature all around. Extremely friendly host family. All the basic amenities you need. Highly recommend. Will certainly be staying here again. Free use of the washing machine is always a bonus
Brilliant site. We had an impromptu one night visit with friends. The site is really quiet, clean and very relaxed. I've only given 4 stars due to the slightly reduced quantity of showers and toilets. Although nice and clean it would be nice to have one or two more of each but that doesn't hugely detract from this lovely little site. Great location too with some lovely walks and close to Lechlade for a nice pint or to pop to the shops. We'll certainly be back.
It's quite a narrow lane to get to the campsite. Don't be put off. It appears to be a lot longer than it is as the lane continues into a small car park for the farm, but the lane for the campsite turns right before you reach the cars. I hesitated thinking there was a car about to enter the single track section from the other end. I was met by a lady who walked to the camping area and pointed out the available pitches and I could choose. The pitches were located on a ridge, so you parked sideways on to the boundary hedge, or the lower pitches were flat but with less view. The were a group of people in a tent, but they were a good distance away, one camper and one other motorhome when I was there. When I went to leave was when I spotted the toilets. They had not been pointed out to me and it would have been good to have known about their location when I arrived. The site was pleasant and quiet apart from an occasional plane flying over. Lots of midges which I hadn't expected, so take your mozzie spray..
Would have liked to park on the site but our 4 ton motorhome would have sunk to it's axles in the bog in August, so managed to find a pitch luckily , in the overflow park. Free washing machine was a bonus as was the local walk around the narure reserves.
