Tottenham Court Road Station is served by the Central, Elizabeth and Northern lines the underground part of the station has had a upgrade to the entrance and ticket hall area making it bigger wider and lift installed for disabled access. The station has a number of entrances and exits here and is a very popular and busy station with a high number of passengers interchanging to different lines. The Elizabeth line part of the station is so clean and fresh with two long platforms.
Streets in action, night life vibes, crowd, music, street lights, noise, busy roads. A different experience for night walk. Definitely don’t missed this place in London.
Very good to visit, tourist or UK resident. Although I miss the Astoria & it took many years to complete, this whole area needs to be seen now. Massive outside screens, very spacious & exciting, I'd definitely recommend. Quite Brilliant!
This is a massive station. Easy to navigate and easy access to and from the Elizabeth line. Still easy to use during rush hour and other busy periods.
Much nicer station since the renovation. Pretty spacious. Very convenient for many places in the west end.
Northern Line, Elizabeth Line and Central line Stop. You can take any of the line to continue your journey east or West. Specially Oxford Circus or Oxford Street. Easy access to world shopping trade centres. Mostly very busy on peak time and specially weekdays. Underground stations looks so clean and tidy. Specially staff was also very helpful and friendly.
Tottenham Court Road used to be the uncomfortable cramped interchange between the two most cramped and hot underground lines, the west end branch of the Northern line and the Central line. Now it has turned into an awesome cutting edge station that stretches under much of the eastern end of Oxford Street. Tottenham Court Road is excellently placed for theatre land, a short walk from Cambridge circus for Harry Potter and the cursed child, Stranger Things the musical, King Lear and The Witches. It is only a 10-15 minute stroll from here to Covent Garden, Leicester Square, China town and right on the edge of Soho hence Magic Mike at the theatre is also close
As a wheelchair user travelling on the Elizabeth line from Liverpool Street to Tottenham Court Road, I found the lift signs confusing and few and far between. I needed to get to the way out but I could only see the lift sign for the northern line. When I followed it, I saw another sign to the lift for the way out but this meant I had to go back on myself, adding to my journey time.
Large station but easy to navigate and very clean inside considering its location. Good cellular service and the connection to the Elizabeth Line looks amazing as well as being useful.
Busy as ever but the best station for some of the best sights in London. All buses are also stopping by the station. Connecting everything.
