I am so glad to find this place to do Pilates and Yoga lessons. We tried many coaches here, and all coaches are so professional and so nice! It is a great studio!
I stopped for a smoothie. Really good. Freshly made and very refreshing in the heat. A few seats. Cool to sit and relax. Friendly staff.
Super powered and recharged by chai and coffee combo Lovely coffee, great service, nice place to sit down and just relax
My favourite studio in London. The staff are really helpful and engaging, the space is simple and comfortable and classes are never over-booked. All the teachers I've had lead my sessions are world class. The juice bar makes some of the best health smoothies and juices in town. Love it.
Great place for all kinds of yoga. Was my first yoga experience, and they got me hooked. It is a quiet and relaxing way to exercise. It can also be challenging, but therapeutic at the same time. This place also has a great juice bar. Give it a try... First class free! 2-for-1 offer, or free if you were referred
Very unwelcoming/unhelpful staff! I went for a tour because I live close by and I was interested in joining it. But definitely not joining. Re: First of all, I do understand that I can´t visit the studio while classes are happening, I was just looking for some information that I can´t have online, and take a look at the space. And no, I was not given the option to come another time, the staff simply told me to look at the screen for more information. Honestly, very poor service and unprepared team. And moreover I would give -1 for you community management team, "you won´t be able to experience this yourself", very poor!
In a city chaotic at all hours, this is an oasis of peace and tranquility. From the outside, on Baker Street and next to the Sherlock Holmes Museum, you would never guess that Total Chi held a beautiful garden, a quiet space to collect oneself, and gorgeous studios to perform yoga. Not even from first entry would anyone know what lay in the heart of the business. On the main floor, you enter to a shop, catering to all: ice cream, smoothies, still and mineral water, among other things. You can choose to sit outside on the patio or inside, in it's urban chic environment of wood, light colors and bold Navy cushions, contrasting nicely. Thomas or any one of the ladies will happily answer your questions and provide nourishment with service as pleasant as the decor. But, the jewel of the experience is downstairs. A no shoes policy protects not only the floors but also the quiet. As you come downstairs, the bustle of city life fades away, as just walking into the space invites you to take a deep breath, let it out and begin the mental stretch of letting go. The garden within the hidden courtyard calls for Savasana and Salabhasana, with it's fountain purifying the noise of outside, letting you deepen your inner balance, focusing. In this pristine area, you are given an elite approach of small classes, maxed out at 5 students per class, for a more personal touch. You can also do private one-on-one classes. And for this level of service, you would expect insane prices. Instead, the prices are a bit more reasonable for such top of the line instruction. With the membership, classes are less than £20 each. While not for the masses- at it's current price, for those who can afford the luxury, it's a great deal. I have been in a few different studios worldwide. At this size, I found it worth the visit and beautiful, easy to reach from anywhere, being so close to Baker Street Station. Indeed, even if not one of the posh, it's worth attending even one class.
This is a review of the yoga studio, I didn't try the juice bar. It's a lovely space but the instructor of my class was highly unprofessional. He was late to the class to begin with which is not great. But the serious part was his approach to correcting technique. I'm someone very used to exercising, I have been doing weight training and pilates for years, I exercise 4 times a week, etc. and because of this I know there are certain pains that are not "good pain" when you do an exercise and if you're feeling it you should stop to correct technique or change to something else. Otherwise you'll injure yourself. As I'm new to yoga I alerted the instructor of pain of this type, his response "it takes practice my friend". That's a deal-breaker for me.
Best Yoga and Pilates studio also the juice bar. Yujin is the main reason I go there as she is the best instructor I have ever had!
