I just want to write a review how lovely this place and wonderful atmosphere when my friend text me and she told me the place over charged us with a Margarita coctail 13£. I know we should check the bill there before paying but we had to get to a event. We trust them we paid what we had. Big mistake.
This is a great concept, the location is fantastic and they have done a really good job on the set up. When it's nice weather they could do with managing guests more though. We were a walk in and understandably ready to be turned away if they were busy or booked. They were letting in everyone and the wait at the bar was 30 minutes. Would have been better to look after the people already there and sell more drinks. Didn't try the food but drinks were on point.
Just popped in to have a drink with a friend as it was a warm day. Host at the desk was very warm and receptive. She led us to our table and said a waiter would be with us shortly. After about 20 minutes of waiters walking by and standing inside chatting amongst themselves, one waitress served the table next to us. So we thought this the perfect time to also order. We politely asked to order a drink each and she mumbled under her breath that she was on her break and had a look on her face that she’d rather be anywhere else than serving us. We felt so unwelcomed that my friend just wanted to leave the environment soon after receiving our drinks. We again tried to look around for someone to request the bill, which again in itself took around 10 minutes. And the lady who brought over the card machine didn’t say a word to us. Rather just held out the card machine in our faces. Perhaps this was a stressful day on the staff but I won’t be recommending this venue to anyone else.
There are some harsh reviews of this rooftop bar. We stopped by ad hoc on my Wife’s Birthday to a smiling welcoming team who gave us great service and we had great drinks and great food…sure the ‘view’ is overshadowed by the refurbishment of the building next door but we couldn’t fault it…especially when it rained where the staff ushered everyone into the dry and then once it stopped they ran around drying everything up and re-setting. All with a smile!
Went on a Friday evening. Terrace not busy but nice atmosphere and music. Light bites were great, the chicken pieces in particular were fantastic. Great cocktails and service.Food: 5/5
We booked this for my partners birthday as we were shopping & we greeted at the entrance to the lift by a very rude man who just stood in front of me & said ‘you got a booking’! Was obstructing me & came across as very rude! If I hadn’t booked I would have walked away at that point. We got to our table & ordered some Prosecco, olives & strawberrys. We waited 1/2 an hour before we asked where our drinks were, very obviously the woman had forgotten to put our order through their system. The food never turned up? We posts & left. The Prosecco was horrible. Would not go there again. Would spend my money somewhere with decent service.
Rebranded to Willows. Offers rooftop dining and drinks. Nice on a summers day. The drinks menu isn't extensive. Didn't try any food. The views are pretty much non existent. Dont expect a good view. Still. Something to do when on Oxford Street.
Beautiful setting, lovely for a sunny day. Easy to get a table. Service was very slow - waiters were not very attentive and then forgot my order. Probably overpriced on the basis of the service.Food: 4/5
As walk-ins, we weren't sure if we would be accommodated since we didn't have a reservation. However, to our surprise, they allowed us to order some drinks and find a spot. We were given an hour to stay, but the host was incredibly kind and gave us a heads-up 30 minutes in advance, reminding us that the table needed to be vacated. The atmosphere was delightful, especially on a sunny day, and the Aperols we ordered were absolutely perfect. If you're planning to visit, I highly recommend booking in advance to secure a table! We had drinks the first opening week. We were very impressed. The staff was amazing and very friendly. We asked to change table and they were able to accommodate our request. Cocktails were spot on!!!!
