bought a budgie from them with the understanding I wanted a male, a ‘male’ was found and I bought said bird come to find out the bird is female after 1 week, made a call to ask if possible to exchange for a male, no problem a ‘male’ was being brought up to me a few days later and exchange it, when the man go here he proceeded to tell me the bird was a male and I was wrong and every professional (20+ years) breeder i spoke to telling me it was a girl was wrong and was offended that I had taken their word against his which is only just heard about with his arrival moments before, he then proceeded to become verbally aggressive with me telling me I lied to get him up here for a new bird, I wasted his time, continuing to tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about and neither do my friends, he wasn’t going to be exchanging the budgies (the budgie he brought was also a girl) telling me he’s a good person as he goes to church every week, and left the female budgie here that he knows I do not want, no offer to take this bird back and offer a refund just told me that “everyone knows there’s a 2 day return in birds” I wasn’t aware of this but obviously I’m the only one, the way he spoke to me and accused me was disgusting and he left me in tears then proceeded to tell his wife that I was the aggressive one and would not be returning

Great little pet shop, the owners Nick & Rosie are very friendly & always helpful with a wide range of exotic birds, foods, bedding, collars, leads etc in stock if they don't have it they will always endeavour to get it asap

Needed a dog flap in a hurry, found the staff to be very helpful and even though they did not have the dog flap that I wanted in stock in less than 24 hours one was ordered and had a phone call to say it was in. Couldn't have asked for more helpful staff and would certainly use again.
