Stunning, such a nice pool for a good long swim. At 91 metres it feels more like open water than a pool, and the lanes are so wide that you can easily overtake. Mornings in the summer are the best, and you can get a membership with Places for People that comes out to less than £35 a month for unlimited swimming. So so good - don’t be put off by the temperature it warms up quickly and you acclimatise quickly! You do need to book in advance
So happy to have the lido back after it's much needed and appreciated refurb. Staff, as usual wonderful and helpful. Water quality great and plenty of room for swimmers and sunbathers. The cafe is brilliant and not too expensive. I can't wait to spend the summer here with friends from far and wide. Book in advance or you may be disappointed, especially on hot days!
Will be very honest and say it was my first time here,from the website its looks like fun place even if u not plan to swim during all your visitcheck the website, mention:sunbathing and more... Got My ticket online Arrived early slot 10am *Thinking to sit by the water to get warm before got in but not chairs at all... Sitting on concerite it's unpleasant at all... *No music at all when mention and asked the worker's they answer I can play whatever I want from my phone... *on the day I arrived they chose to clean half of the pool so half lines was closed whice creat "traffic" on the open lines... *the sauna was closed, workers said its open ONLY WINTER TIME *when asked if I can sit by the kids pool as it was the only quiet place ,been refused as there was no lifeguard and its under 5 years only even that WAS NOT KIDS AT ALL AT THIS TIME.... I think it will fair enough to update those things and and let people choose BEFORE THEY PAID AND NOT AFTER.... I mean guys without the respect what are u charging enter for ?! Defo was first and last time to visit Thanks for nothing

Love Tooting Lido - the little cafe is great. Plenty of changing rooms and very picturesque. Can get quite chilly in the evening because it’s shaded by trees but good for families or people just going for a swim as they split the pool into lanes and normal areasVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Book your slot in advance if you can. There are small lockers where you can store your valuables. Bring your own lock. The food on offer is nice, staff nice also. Easy to picnic in the green area. The pool is fun.
So remember you need to book in advance before attending. It's was a super warm day and the place was packed. My suggestions - you'll need a picnic mat ideally something waterproof or a towel to lay across the floor, as there is no real seating. Bring food however, there is a cafe onsite selling sandwiches, burgers etc. There is nothing halal but tuna and cheese sandwiches, the wait for food can be a bit long hence bring your own and don't worry it's allowed. There is an ice cream van inside but for a can drink and ice cream, will set you back about £7.00.. Water was freezing even though it was a super warm day 32 degrees. Kids had fun! Great value! there is free tickets available for people on benefits. The website will help you with the requirements.
Lovely big outdoor pool, sessions are 4.5 hours we went 3:30-8 on a hot Tuesday evening. Very busy as expected for the summer holidays. Genuinely refreshing and clean water. Be warned that security is tight, when they say no glass they mean it! We had to leave our glass tupperware at the security desk and carry our cake in on the lid. Could be improved with larger lockers, especially pound coin ones.
The Tooting Bec Lido is fabulous. I love going there and it is great fun. Plenty of room to picnic. You will have to book early if the weather is good! The kids absolutely love it.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Wonderful refurbishment, which the lido has really benefited from - a number of modernised features, but retains old charm. Go on a sunny day and you won't regret it! Five stars would come with an easy app to use for booking.
