I went with my partner for a birthday treat. We also booked rose facials and a body massage. The pool was nice but the jacuzzi was tiny and there were people occupying it for ages. The masseuse was not that great.
We booked relax and revive. The treatments 2 25min or one 50min were excellent. Ask for Mario. However, the spa facilities, decor and vibe are basic, corporate and outdated. Nothing like the opulence of the hotel, which is disappointing. Steam room is a tiny box in the changing room. The waterfall tap in the jacuzzi is too powerful and the jets are not placed in a way to massage etc. Two hair driers and none of the other added perks you would expect from a hotel of this calibre.
I was walking to the pool yesterday from the dressing room and a male employee laughed at me and asked where my robe was. I didn't realize it was illegal to walk down the hall holding a towel and wearing a modest one-piece bathing suit? Why are your staff policing women's bodies like we live in the 19th century? What difference does it make if I'm in the hallway or five feet away by the pool? This behavior coming from male staff was gross. The spa is otherwise fine.
SPA REVIEWS: I think it Used to be good. But last 2 times I have been and they got new masseuse, no offence, but they need to step up. It's not the same relaxing experience after the massage. Also the mens shower rooms were not working. I feel like its not worth the price any more as there are better alternatives.
Good service. Highly recommended "Afternoon tea" in "Winter garden", beautiful experience, the surroundings, atmosphere, fantastic service.
Tik was amazing, I really enjoyed my facial with her. The amenities were very nice and the hotel is beautiful.
My new favourite hotel . We had such a fantastic time . Super clean luxurious room .friendly staff . Amazing breakfast . In fact the best breakfast spread i have ever seen . Pricey but good value . Treats upon treats . Real 5 star hotel but not snooty . Calm atmosphere. Big in comfort .
A very nice spa! I came here on a weekday afternoon and it was very quiet and had the entire pool area to myself. The spa is well maintained, clean, perfumed, the infrared sauna is amazing. Shame that the jacuzzi was out of service on the day I visited. The spa treatments are quite overpriced - a 20 min treatment costs £55. You can get a full 1 hour treatment elsewhere for this money.
Just fabulous . I had the most special birthday treat thanks to the sweetest, very professional and highly experienced therapist Janequa. I have done multiple face and body treatments in London and abroad and I believe today was one of my favourite. I will be returning for more treatments and cannot wait ! Many thanks !
Wonderful spa. I've been here a few times and will continue to go. It's nice and clean and the staff are really polite and welcoming. I particularly love the chlorine-free pool as it feels much nicer on the skin.
