I had been looking for some lamps from the website I was having trouble getting the ones I wanted. There was meant to be some there but for some reason they didn't match up with, what was actually in stock. Luckily Manahil took the trouble to find an alternative after others weren't in stock I had to get some lights back on in a comunial area in some flats. So got done and didn't have to go back the next day. Thanks
I am a regular here and I must say in the recent weeks my experiences have been massively better than previous times I have been here Looks like team have had a shake up and some new staff, they have been quick, polite & efficient. Shout out to manager Andy who was very helpful in sorcing the correct product I needed Keep up the good work guys- i will be back
I was in there yesterday afternoon 12/09/2022, the young lady behind the tills was rolling her eyes and making silly facial expressions at customers i suppose the ones she felt were asking silly questions or not moving at her pace . She even started off by making one towards me, Totally unprofessional. Do better Toolstation!
If you like to hear the personal stories of the staff and lose 1h of your time than this is your store. Honestly every time I need to use that store I am getting more and more impressed and depressed
ToolStation Croydon is a handy place where you can shop for DIY or trade items for builders or plumbers or general repairs. They have really good stock of mostly used items in building and repair. As name suggests they also stock power tools. They have catalogue from which you can choose item or product numbers. I normally use there website before I make a visit, so it is always a quick visit here. The staff are very helpful.
Under staffed. Dont waste your time with click and collect. Either join the queue or cross the road to screwfix. Staff are polite and seem to know the products
This is my second bad experience in this store, bad enough experience that I felt the need to write a review. I have a few complaints so I’ll number them, 1. I have a dust allergy and couldn’t stop sneezing when queuing in there, definitely needs a good clean or fresh air or something, allergy symptoms are the worst when they’re super active! 2. Cashier said she would be back with my items but left me and a queue behind me alone for about 15/20 mins. 3. The queue was massive behind me, bloke near me was shouting for more staff when the girl left for all of that time. We could see an old fella in the back but he looked at us all and walked away. This was what triggered me to write my experience on Google, I found it beyond baffling, I’ve been to other Toolstation’s and been served within seconds, never left alone like this. Not to mention the amount of expensive goods they have at the front, it shocks me that people are so happy to leave it all out and alone in a packed store. 4. She ID’d me when I’m clearly over 30 and she looked about 16/17, when I asked her how old she is she didn’t say anything, just gave a smile, gave me receipt and started doing her own thing under the counter. Place ruined my morning once again. I should’ve learned my lesson the first time and gone to screwfix instead!!
Amazing store had everything I needed Andy was very helpful and knowledgeable will definitely come back and highly recommended
Absolute rubbish service. Spoke to Patryk Porebski who is a supervisor however claims to be store manager of this branch but is unable to assist with a simple query. Popped in to the store with a trade account to be told it doesn’t exist and they can’t do anything. I have shown them the initial trade account opening email which clearly shows the account number and the credit limit however the gentlemen tell me to call the head office and walks off. Found the experience to be I rude and professional. I do not understand how these individuals become store managers or supervisors. A note to tool station, please take action to improve your service.
Wont be going back to this store again. I spend thousands at toolstation each year I dont no why I do......
