Very welcoming staff. Guinness is up there with the best anywhere in London. My wife & me had tradition Bacon & Cabbage and it was quality! In particular, the bacon was lightly salted, the way we like it! The veg and the meal was delicious. We will be back soon.
Nice service with great atmosphere and I really enjoyed it. Plenty of spaces even though there were many people at the bar. Two clean toilets. There is a small outdoor area for smoking with a small TV too. I found its super cool that they cold down beer glasses in the fridge. 4.7 pounds for a pint of Stella....its a bargain.

Wow, I had Beef Casserole served with Mashed Potatoes and Mashed Swede and cabbage... Absolutely tasty and smelt wonderful ..My daughter had Beef Burger and chips served with salad and coleslaw... All of our meals were served by wonderful staff and presented lovely too .. great atmosphere in the pub too

Lovely atmosphere. Had a lunch which was fine, but not tasty. I had the lamb, my cousin said her chicken and stuffing tasted fine. 2 others also had the lamb, but found it bland. Apple crumble and custard made up for what the meal lacked. It was on point, crumbly texture, melt in the mouth crumble, even the custard was the right consistency and amount doe the portion. 10/10 for the apple crumble and custard. Staff were polite, courteous, asked if we we OK and if everything was alright. Cutlery was nice and clean no dodgy watermarks or dried on food. Premises was clean also.
Everything about our visit was absolutely spot on, the food was excellent and well priced and the service at the bar second to none again with excellent prices. On a side note, best Guinness I have had in a long time
Staff were great, friendly. Fast service. I has the vegetarian lasagne. Unfortunately I wouldn't be ordering again. It was quorn mince, no vegetables at all & tasteless.Food: 4/5

Went for Sunday lunch with a friend and was pleasantly surprised that lunch was still being served after 2pm. Excellent service, friendly and efficient staff . A good choice of starters main courses and desserts to choose from.We had the roast chicken served with 3 vegetables, roast potatoes and gravy. A very generous plate of delicious food at a very reasonable price. This is a very spacious and comfortable bar, very clean with a nice friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be back again for lunch and it will be worth going on a Saturday night to enjoy some live music.
