Over the years, Veranda has been a special place for me. Everything unique and with a story from many places over the world. I’m truly sad to see the doors close, but such a wonderful family, who have shown me such kindness, must move on to the next chapter. I had a wonderful experience today and walked away with amazing finds to match my dining room table made from a door over 100 years old and an Indonesian boat converted to a beautiful cellarette. If you’re able to get there before they close for good, you’ll be lucky. The Moroccan lights, the armoires, statues, carvings and tables will win your heart! I wish all the best to the family and thank them for making my home so much better! namaste
I recently visited Veranda Real Wood for the first time, and I was absolutely blown away by this amazing store! Such beautiful, original, hand crafted pieces. We ended up buying a solid wood table with 6 leather chairs, a gorgeous wooden chest, and and incredible cabinet made of repurposed wood from an old ship. We were assisted by Meenu, who was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and a delight to deal with. She was able to arrange convenient delivery for our purchases, making the entire experience simple and enjoyable for us. Moving forward, I will ALWAYS look to Veranda Real Wood FIRST when I'm in the market for furniture. Thank you Meenu and Veranda, you've made me a "customer for life".
We are so happy to have purchased such a beautiful and original coffee table at Veranda Real Wood Interiors! There are so many gorgeous and original pieces of furniture to choose from, and the service is wonderful. We appreciate the time, gentleness and expertise of the staff! We will be going back soon!
All of the furniture in this store is solid wood hand made all one of a kind pieces. We bought a sideboard and a mirror made from wood reclaimed from a sunken ship. It is a very unique piece and fit perfectly into our space. We are so happy with the quality and the service we received and the prices are very reasonable. Even lower than what you would find from box stores with lower quality furniture.
I am so happy to have found such a beautifully unique furniture store in London.The first time I visited VERANDA REAL WOOD INTERIORS, I purchased a beautiful one-of-a-kind, brass inlaid, coffee table,, which made my whole livingroom come together. Yesterday, I was once again thrilled to find and purchase a stunning large cabinet from VERANDA INTERIORS .They carry a wide selection of unique furniture and accessoriess. I found the prices to be very reasonable and the staff very kind, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Thank you Meenu - I will see you again in the future!
A recommendation from a friend sent me to Veranda Real Wood Interiors because I was in search of a rosewood wardrobe for my upstairs guest room which I was redecorating with fabrics and art objects from my travels in India. I'm glad I went to the store in person because their website is evidently a work-in-progress. Though it lists various categories of furniture sold in the store, the photos of representative pieces do not give an adequate impression of the wonderful variety of wardrobes, cabinets, tables, beds, armoires, mirrors, benches, chairs, cushions, screens, wall hangings, and accent decor from all over South Asia. The first thing that struck me about Veranda was how big it is: the spacious ground floor space. which is filled with large and small pieces, both antique and modern, is matched by a second floor with many more choices. I was guided through the enchanting maze by Meenu, Veranda's friendly manager, who helped me find exactly the rosewood wardrobe I was hoping to find. It has antique doors, forming a cusped arch with brass embellishments, which have been fitted into a solid modern storage unit with a bottom shelf and a wooden rail extending all the way across the interior. Along the way I spotted two rosewood bedside tables with brass-accented doors. Negotiation with Meenu over the price of all three items was a cheerful process, and I left the store feeling that I had found even more than what I was looking for and had also paid a reasonable price for them. Meenu also arranged by telephone for the heavy wardrobe to be transported from Veranda to my house and carried up to the guest room on the second floor. The transport team was strong-limbed, efficient, and very careful not to damage the wardrobe or my stairwell walls during the delivery. A week later I made another trip to Veranda and came away with an exquisitely carved teak cabinet with a distressed turquoise finish and three gorgeous silk pillows for my guest room. I have no doubt that I shall be making more visits to Veranda in the future. For first-time visitors, I can confirm that Veranda is easy to reach by car on Fanshawe Park Road West. Parking is easy, with lots of spaces conveniently located beside the store.
Just brought home 3 beautiful wood furniture pieces that we will enjoy for years to come. The women at the shop was so friendly and helpful. I'm already wanting to go back to buy more pieces for our home. You must go see the one of akind furniture they have in their store.
My girlfriend and I are furnishing a house, and we've been looking at so many furniture stores. There's a sameness to most of them, and it's getting a little boring. Veranda is a total antidote to that. Everything has personality and all the pieces have a perspective. We will absolutely be buying a lot of items here.
Unique collection, good pricing, friendly and attentive staff. We bought some beautifully crafted statues and a unique 'Book Case', and really enjoyed our shopping experience. Will recommend heartily!
It’s a wonderland of seriously beautiful wood furniture. The piece I fell in love with would not let me leave without it. The massive displays are well laid out and wrap around you like a hug. This place needs to be one of your stops when looking for quality furniture with a uniqueness.
