Been here a few times, and always leave happy - only because the food is great and the service is superb. The fish is super fresh coated in crispy light batter and does not feel greasy. Likewise the chips are light and crunchy and delightful. Service is always consistently great and friendly. Always make a booking for a table. Highly recommend the turbot too, sweet delicious fish. Overall, would come again and again.
We ordered on the phone and were told it’d be ready within 20/25 mins and they made sure it was - given how busy they are that was very good. We ordered 3 grilled and 1 fried cod, chips, mushy peas and calamari. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the calamari however the rest of the food was amazing. The tartar sauce was also very good and a huge portion. It’s a little expensive but probably one of the best fish and chips I’ve had. I’ll definitely return.
We had cod + chips + mushy pea. The fish is fresh, perfectly cooked, not too oily. Nicely chunky chips. Generous portion for both cod and chips. Award winning restaurant. Been my go to place for fish + chips. Friendly folks at the restaurants and many regulars.Food: 5/5
Great place came since was a little girl now 27years old food is always fresh tasty and brilliant quality. Good variety great price !x Perfect for a nice family meal out or a date night. I even go alone its got a beautiful atmosphere the workers are so friendly very family orientated. Highly recommended x I had the chicken its was the most beautiful succulent tasty chicken I've had in a long time
We had the cod and haddock fish and chips. I could tell it was really fresh and it showed in the flavor. Probably the best fish & chips I've ever had. Also the sticky toffee pudding was to die for. Servers were super friendly!Food: 5/5
Coming from the South Coast, I have never been able to find good fish and chips in London since I moved here 15 years ago! I always walk past this place and never tried it, today I got a take out as I was on way back from a dog walk and it was the best fish and chips I’ve had in London! Chips are perfect, chunky, not greasy and just crispy enough with some bits at the bottom of the bag. Nice gentleman serving me at the counter today. Will be back for a sit in dinner soon to try their hospitality!
Just....wow. first time visiting Toff's and was fantastic. The food tastes amazing but the highlight was the curry sauce. AMAZING!!! Prices are above average but your paying for QUALITY. can't wait to come back!Food: 5/5

Absolutely incredible. The food was exceptionally tasty. The service was good we did have to prompt about the missing mushy peas but away from that, I cannot fault the customer service. He was friendly, gave advice, and seemed welcoming. Though my friend and I initially felt a little like we were the sites at the zoo, we enjoyed the general vibe. People were enjoying themselves and so did we. I would definitely visit here again. The fish was huge, the chips were lovely I could always have more!, and the curry sauce was delicious. The garnish was comical as it looked like an afterthought. Perhaps they could find a way to do it so it doesn't look like a sad salad but an intentional little bit of garnish. Just my view, of course. May need to change the lettuce to something greener and prettier of the mixed greens variety, maybe? Price was mostly fair. It is, after all, posh fish and chips in Muswell Hill I'm definitely adding Toffs to my list of places to go to and recommend. Thank you.
