Really, really lovely restaurant, with a very cool vibe. The Jerk Chicken is pretty legendary here, and rightfully so, it was the best jerk I've tasted. The service was extremely friendly and charming and the prices were quite reasonable. Unfortunately, it might close in September, so please go if you get the chance. It will be a real loss to Crouch End if it does.
Popular local restaurant in North London, staff and extremely welcoming and accommodating made that our large party was comfortable whislt attending to other. All meals arrived at the same time and drinks promptly. The atmosphere was upbeat without being overbearing. The meals were well presented and cooked perfectly. We visited on a Saturday and I would definitely recommend banners restaurant in Crouch End for an evening event. Parking: There are two disable spots opposite the restaurant, but you will have to be lucky to get them. Most people park on surrounding roads and walk 2 minutes to the restaurant.
Been coming here for years. It always delivers. Came for an impromptu lunch date and it was packed, but we managed to get a decent table. Service was brilliant and the food was everything we wanted it to be. Decent portions, tasty and good ambiance.
One of the best restaurants in Crouch End, cozy & welcoming, the food is great, fresh, descent size, a good selection of cocktails and dessert. The service is really good. Family friendly and also great to dine alone.
It is obviously a clear hit in the area. Family, friends and pets gather here. No matter how full it is, people seem to enjoy the atmosphere. Staff are well known, friendly and accommodating.Food: 4/5
We have to the banners on many times. This was our first one this year. Throughly enjoyed breakfast today. Just the right portion, cooked well and very tasty.
Very cool atmosphere, staff were lovely! The only thing that I didn't like was rice and beans, very different from the usual recipe.Food: 4/5
The menu was good in principle and there was choice for Gluten free meals and bread available and veggie. However time taken for service was just appalling even though friendly and upbeat. We saw 2 groups leave because of the time it took to seat, serve or pay. Such a shame because it could be improved by being a bit more organised or having more staff. Food was average when it came out. There was an additional charity donation that was not mentioned that just arrived on the bill, even though I would want to, it should be communicated. Generally massively overpriced for what it is. Classic London!
Thank you Banner’s for years of joy! My family have been coming here since before I was born and it’s a firm part of our history. You’ve given this community a gift and you won’t be forgotten any time soon.
Great flavours, big portions and special dishes. Reasonable price and cosy venue. I particularly enjoyed the salt fish dish. A must go place in crouch end!
