My friends and I dine regularly at the Toby Carvery in Borehamwood. The restaurant consistently offers a good selection of meats and vegetables, and the overall quality of the food is usually very good. However, on this occasion, the meal was only lukewarm, including the gravy, and I would have preferred it to be served hotter.nnThe location is convenient, being close to the main town centre, and it benefits from free parking shared with the adjacent Travelodge. The interior décor has been recently updated, creating a modern, cosy, and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are polite and generally provide a pleasant level of service. During our recent visit, the restaurant was relatively quiet, which may explain why the food was not as hot as expected, as it appeared to have been sitting for some time between services.nnDespite this minor issue with the temperature of the food, I would still consider returning in the future.

We were in the area overnight and stopped by for a quick breakfast before heading home. Food was as expected, really nice and hot, usual Toby selection but the greeting and then checking all was done okay and service from staff member Mandy is the difference. What a brilliant welcome. So friendly, warm and genuine and made it a really good visit. Staff make all the difference. Thanks.

10 of us had a nice dinner.  Food was nice. Veg a bit soft. Good selection.   Our waitress Liv was not only fabulous but perfectly remembered all our drinks  and desserts order.  No need to write anything down!  Thanks Liv

Had very nice evening there yesterday.  Nice relaxing place food was fantastic.  Waitress  polish lady was amazing  lady. Deliver very good services. Nothing was to much. Look after out table very well. We be back there again soon.well done.

Justin from Toby’s Borehamwood, his service was impeccable. A sweet and delicate young man who cared for his customers myself and 3 friends, was very kind and made sure we were well looked after. My friend has severe allergies and he made sure to go through the allergens list with her for her to feel comfortable knowing what she can eat. Overall a great experience, We need more Justin’s in the world.
