Greasy cod, dry chips. Not fresh at all, batter was soft and not cruncy. Sorry but the quality is not up to my standard for the price. Order was quick at least. Based on my experience won't be coming back at all.Food: 1/5
Amazing staff.. .they try to accommodate you even when they're super busy. Like on a Friday they work hard and serve as fast as they can. Their chips are the only foods I've tried here as they're yummy and served piping hot. They have other vegetarian options like veg burger . Service with a smile !!Food: 5/5
Great! Best fish & chips I’ve had in ages
Very tasty food, clean well stocked buffet, attentive staff and reasonable prices. The restaurant has an old school busy café type charm which may appeal more to the hungry and perhaps less to the romantics, please don’t be disillusioned. If you want a feast it’s spot on. If you want candlelight’s then you’ll probably want to pay that premium.
How can you feed an adult couple with large appetites for less than 15 Pounds for the two? Get a large Haddock and small chips from this great chippy, take it home, eat it in front of the Telly and bobs your uncle, the best tasting, best value dinner for two in the SE of England
Best fish and chips ive ever had. Great portions and friendly stuff. This was when we visited in march 2020 before the lockdowns
First visit in a long time what happened chips were so greasy and soft no batter on the sausage fish not up to usual standard very disappointed indeed sorry don't usually post had I not driven home I would have brought back be going back to award winning Belmont circle
This is one fish and chip shop that can really fry fish and chips and has a great local reputation. OAP specials available along with dining inside and takeaway service available. Vegetarian options: There is some vegetarian options. Kid-friendliness: Childrens menu available Parking: Parking directly opposite in off road pay and display parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Large entrance doorway makes easy access for wheelchair users
Batter over cooked fish was not fresh very dry. Chips are saturated with to much grease on that they had soaked and dripped through the paper bag. I won’t be purchasing food from here again.
Must be the best fish and chips i have had in years. Great portions good price..Food: 5/5
