Excellent value for money, great friendly staff that go above and beyond. I can't fault this dining experience. Wheelchair friendly and ample car parking with disabled spaces...Food: 5/5
Four of us and our Black Labrador visited today Friday 23/9/22. Firstly it was nice to find that this carvery is dog friendly. Of course you don't sit in the restaurant, but the area that's used is absolutely fine, and it was so nice to see water provided. We had a warm and friendly welcome from Adam and the team as we arrived at around 4:50pm. After we placed our order, Chef came over and explained that our food was being prepared from scratch and would take around 40 minutes. This was no problem as we were in no rush, and we appreciated the warning. Staff throughout were excellent. The Friday evening regulars were a great bunch and made a good atmosphere. I was a little concerned that it might get very rowdy as my 88 year old mother in law was with us, but that was never a problem, and if we lived or worked in the area I suspect I would be a regular very quickly. Food was good, 3 yorkshire pudding wraps and a prawn bap, 3 empty plates, mine not quite empty, but that was my own fault. When the menu reads 'Gammon and mustard'.....there is gonna be plenty of mustard, I should have chosen more wisely. Great value at £4.99 each and accompanied by self service carvery vegetables. If you live or work locally and perhaps haven't been in here for a while I definitely recommend dropping in again. This carvery is under new management and I think they have got it right. Vegetarian options: There was a vegetarian menu selection that looked good. Kid-friendliness: As we were leaving there was a young family just heading in, and I certainly would have no problem taking children in here. Parking: Ample parking around the premises, and wheelchair assessable. If there was any problem with wheelchair or mobility I have no doubt that staff would go above and beyond to help.
The carvery was excellent and the person serving it was very friendly and welcoming. The waitress was a bit quiet but she was attentive and made sure we had what we needed. Unfortunately the ice cream machine wasn't working so we couldn't have the desserts we wanted, so we only had one course, but the carvery was delicious and we had plenty of food. We took advantage of the kids eating for £1 offer which made the meal excellent value. We would definitely visit again.
Been going to this Toby on and off for years but this experience was the best out of all of them. There is a new manager who has taken over and you can tell they want everyone to have a great experience. We were seated straight away and were informed about timings for when we could go up for the carvery. The food and service was excellent. Will definitely be back soon! Parking: Parking right outside
Great food and great staff. I come to Toby Blackpool regularly and have never been disappointed the staff are all amazing and let their personalities shine through they’re great to banter with and quick to serve and help. The food is stunning a proper traditional roast dinner, very generous portions and tasty veg. Only complaint I’ve ever had is the utensils can sometimes be too hot but they give napkins for this reason. I love coming here but have to make sure I have a good appetite to manage it all.
The quality of the food was excellent, however staff communication was a little lacking, every customer needs to be treated like it’s their first visit, not everyone knows the protocol. Also when a mistake is madewe were brought the wrong drinks just put it right, no need to tell us it has never happened before, and to make a show of checking the order to see if we had ordered incorrectly. In general I am sure that customers know what they have asked for, and as we paid for the meal at the end we were not trying to get one over on you.
Staff are polite and helpful, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect for a nice Sunday lunch. My food was very nice and prepared with care, each course was filling and freshly made and service didn't take too long. Each member of staff is kind, respectful and very speedy with helping out as many customers as possible. Overall I had a great experience and would definitely recommend to go yourself. 10/10
We were greeted with a friendly person who might have been a manager a table was set straight away the carvery was lovely clean and fresh tasted as expected especially the meat options. The waitress was a young quiet lady but polite and professional however can’t say the same for someone behind the bar with long hair coloured blue who made us jump with slammed down something on the bar and laughed about this with other staff. We don’t go out to have staff mess about and making excessive loud noises while we dine. On the whole a reasonable evening if he was taken out of the customer area. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian gravy and roast potatoes kept seaparate Parking: Good parking available
Staff really good and looked after us. Carvery was nice apart from the Beef which was fatty , but this ain’t the norm as beef is usually nice. Great choice of veg and roast potatoes nice. Good drinks at reasonable prices.
We came on Sunday 2 adults and 3 children from out the area. The carvery was really tasty. Very hot and plenty of choice. The car park was empty so we did worry but saw it said under new management. We were not disappointed with the pudding either/ apple or custard and ice cream. The man on the carvery went out of his way to make conversation with us and was very friendly.
